I know I should be careful. This is just temporary, after all, and Luca and I want completely different futures.
The thing is, when I'm with Luca, all I want to do is say, 'yes', no matter how reckless that would be.

I enjoy a marriage of convenience story, even though the reasons for the marriages are sometimes not the strongest. That said, this one actually made sense and the reason for them getting married works, or at least his reason does, so it works.

Saoirse Kelly and Luca Rossi are planning together for 2 years, long enough for his board of directors to decide that he is worthy, and for her mother to stop pressuring her in all of the ways that successful people want their children to follow their paths.

It's rare in a book for me to like both characters equally, usually I like one a little more than the other. But in this one, I liked both of them equally, and it made it easy to connect with both of them, and to want to see things work out.

There were moments in this one where I was laughing, and I was also really emotionally invested in the relationship.

I enjoyed and recommend this title.
