To say I was excited about another book collaboration between Lauren Blakely and Lili Valente would be an understatement. I love the way these two work together; you'd never know who wrote what in this book. It all just flows. Good With His Hands was sexy, fun, sweet and emotional-and just the book I needed!

Ruby is such a kind, sweethearted person. She has an incredible journey in this book and I loved every moment of it. I cheered her on every step of the way, even as my heart broke for her a few times. I think everyone can find something to relate to in Ruby. She is definitely someone I would want to be friends with!

Now I'm going to go ahead and claim Jesse. You can read him/listen to him...but he's mine. I loved watching him try and deal with his feelings for Ruby. He has this alpha streak inside him that was just the right amount. I loved how he wanted to help Ruby-and that he had good intentions, even if things didn't happen the way he intended them to happen. I fell hard for him-fast. So just to repeat...Jesse is mine :)

The relationship that Ruby and Jesse have is unique and wonderful. I loved watching it evolve from friends to lovers. Their first kiss is one of my favorite first kisses I've read this year! Their flirty banter had me grinning and their sexy times had me fanning myself. Jesse and Ruby just were an incredibly special couple that I loved getting to know.

The audio of this book is freaking fantastic! Joe Arden and Lili Valente were brilliant as Jesse and Ruby; absolutely brilliant. It amazes me how these narrators can perform so many books and still manage to make characters sound unique. I admit to listening to Joe Arden often, but listening to this didn't make me think of any other Joe Arden books-which is a good thing. I love how these two voices meshed and brought Jesse and Ruby to life.

This book came to me at just the right time this year. It took me on a journey that was full of flirty fun and perfectly balanced emotion. This is a book I will go back and read, and listen to, again. Lauren Blakely and Lili Valente have knocked this one out of the park and I absolutely highly recommend it.


A letter, a feeling, or a conversation from someone who is no longer in your life has a power unlike anything else. It's something you can't ignore, even if you want to. And, it's something that you probably don't want to ignore.

Ruby and Jesse are friends and they have been friends for years, although the relationship has evolved over time, which we all understand happens.

And, they are both left wondering what it would like to be more than friends, and with Jesse moving away, it feels like the perfect time for a fling and then an easy split and end date when Jesse moves.

Exactly. And, it's a lot of fun watching their journey.

This was a co-written title, and that adds a different fun to this book and to their story.

I definitely enjoyed and recommend this title.
