Hollywood Playboy by Natasha Madison-Review Blitz

Jessica An entertainment journalist was the last thing I thought I would be doing. I thought once I got my degree, I would be reporting on stories that made a difference, but now all I do is report on who broke up with who and who is dating who. I was over it. Then I got my next assignment. He’s Hollywood’s bad boy. He works hard, and he plays even harder. He’s rude, he’s condescending, and he’s made it known he doesn’t want me on the tour. With one month on the road with him, two things might happen One, I may never work in this industry again. Two, I may just be like everyone else and fall for Hollywood’s Playboy.

This book is the start of a new series, and it's a wonderful start.

Tyler and Jessica are exactly where they don't want to be...around each other. As it happens in forced proximity romances, the characters are stuck together and there's nothing they can do about it. Although it's a familiar trope, the idea of a celebrity, a celebrity reporter and a press junket felt fresh and like a new way to trap a couple of people into the same room...and airplane.

I enjoyed a lot about this title. The secondary characters added to ot without detracting from the lead characters. There was a part at the end where I thought his actions were a little abrupt, but as it turns out, he came to the same conclusion, so that worked out.

I liked the story arc as well. They were believable as people and as a couple. The ending worked well, and I enjoyed the resolution of the story. It gave you just enough of their future to let you be ok with their story ending.

I'm definitely looking forward to the next one in the series. As often with her titles, events happen concurrently, so you get a tease of the next story to come, but in an organic way.

I enjoyed and recommend this title.

I'm not a fan of Hollywood books but I'm a fan of Natasha Madison's so when I saw this blurb I thought, ok, I'll give this a try. I'm so glad I did! This story was smart, realistic (in my opinion) and just plain fun to read. This book made me laugh and sigh and I really enjoyed it.

Jessica is one heck of a strong heroine. She's bold and witty and doesn't hold back in her opinions of Hollywood celebs, especially not Tyler. She's not where she thought she'd be career wise so that was an interesting part of her journey for me. I think it's very relatable. She took this job to tide her over after college and just never left. I loved seeing her break out of her comfort zone.

I wasn't sure how I was going to feel about Tyler. I liked that the Author didn't sugarcoat his playboy status, and that he embraced it but didn't necessarily flaunt it. I loved how he had deeper roots than I was expecting. I enjoyed getting to know all the different sides of Tyler and I definitely fell for him. He's a great book boyfriend.

These two have such energy between them that it just bounces off the page. I felt like I needed popcorn while reading; just watching the two of them spar back and forth verbally. Then that first kiss? Wow. I loved seeing them open themselves up to one another and letting the other truly see who they were.

This is the start of a new series for this Author so we got to meet some secondary characters who will be featured in their own titles soon. I love how this Author weaves them together without letting them overshadow Tyler and Jessica.

The writing here was strong and witty. The plot moved well and I was invested right from the start. I'm telling you, pop some popcorn and grab a blanket while reading this book. I definitely enjoyed this title and recommend it.

When her nose isn't buried in a book, or her fingers flying across a keyboard writing, she's in the kitchen creating gourmet meals. You can find her, in four inch heels no less, in the car chauffeuring kids, or possibly with her husband scheduling his business trips. It's a good thing her characters do what she says, because even her Labrador doesn't listen to her...
