Troublemaker by Kayley Loring-Review Blitz

🔥🔥 HOT NEW RELEASEL 🔥🔥

Troublemaker by Kayley Loring is LIVE!! A teacher is about to get schooled in matters of the heart by a single dad and his young son. #One-click today!

BLURB

TO: Alex Vega

FROM: Emilia Stiles

SUBJECT: Hello

Dear Mr. Vega, I felt it necessary to follow up on today’s meeting, since we weren’t able to speak candidly in front of your son. I was shocked to discover that you are Ryder’s dad. Given that your ex-wife will be out of the country for a while and you are currently his primary caregiver, I’m sure you understand why we need to establish boundaries and etiquette. I think it would be best if we just pretend that we met in person for the first time today. Your son is a very bright (flirtatious and talkative) student and since his education is a top priority for both of us, I hope I can count on you to respectfully refrain from grinning at me, using that sexy tone of voice, and undressing me with your annoyingly beautiful brown eyes if we should happen to interact with each other again in the future. Thanks so much, Miss Stiles TO: Emilia Stiles FROM: Alex Vega SUBJECT: Re: Well, hello again… Dear Miss Stiles, Great to hear from you. My son’s education is indeed a top priority. As such, I respectfully agree to refrain from doing all of the aforementioned things. However, I can’t promise to stop thinking about that kiss at the bar this summer. I’ve been thinking about it for the past month. It’s interesting how humorless and uptight you are about my son’s totally awesome personality, given that I have personally witnessed just how flirtatious and talkative you yourself can be when mildly intoxicated. You’re so welcome, Alex P.S. I volunteered to be a chaperone for your next field trip. See you then.

GUILTY AS SIN BY MEGHAN MARCH-REVIEW BLITZ

Guilty until proven innocent.
That’s the way the world works, right?
I’m tired of being convicted without evidence, all because my last name is Gable.
The Riscoffs might own this town, but I’m done following their rules.
If only I could forget just how easily Lincoln Riscoff can drag me under his spell.

AVAILABLE NOW

After that cliffhanger, you want to know what happens next... RIGHT NOW. But, you get to wait for just a bit to find out what happens now for Lincoln and Whitney.

This is the middle book in the trilogy, so writing this review is a little like one of those old maps with dragons on the edges...it's not safe to say much of anything about this book.

What I can say is I enjoyed it. I liked the story, and the way it developed. I liked the characters (even the ones I don't like are fascinating) and I didn't see the ending coming. At all.

This is not a standalone, so make sure you've read the first before you dive into this one.

I enjoyed and recommend this title.

From New York Times bestselling author Meghan March comes a brand new saga of forbidden love and second chances. A Riscoff and a Gable can never live happily ever after. Our family feud is the stuff of legends. Ten years ago, Whitney Gable caught me off guard with her long legs and grab-you-by-the-balls blue eyes. I didn’t know or care what her name was. Like any Riscoff worth the family name, I went after what I wanted. We burned like a flash fire until she married another man. She hates me, and she should. I objected on her wedding day. Now she’s home, with those same long legs and man-eater stare, but there’s no ring on her finger. They say a Riscoff and a Gable can never live happily ever after . . . but I’m not done with Whitney Gable. I’ll never be done with her.

Whitney Gable is the kind of woman you fight to the death to protect.
To keep.
To cherish.
I’ve finally learned my lesson, and it’s time to prove I’m the man who’s worthy of her.
I don’t care what it takes, because failure is not an option.
No matter who or what stands in our way—this time, she’ll be mine forever

A New York Times, #1 Wall Street Journal, and USA Today bestselling author of over twenty novels, Meghan March has been known to wear camo face paint and tromp around in woods wearing mud-covered boots, all while sporting a perfect manicure. She’s also impulsive, easily entertained, and absolutely unapologetic about the fact that she loves to read and write smut. Her past lives include slinging auto parts, selling lingerie, making custom jewelry, and practicing corporate law. THE WRIGHT ONE BY K.A. LINDE-REVIEW BLITZ

A new sexy contemporary romance duet from USA Today bestselling author K.A. Linde…
Secrets swarm all around. My world is crumbling under the strain. I don’t know if we can survive this. My heart is in the Wright place. But is his?
The Wright One is the last book in the Wright Love Duet that began in The Wright Love. Find out if Sutton and David survive their world of secrets in the conclusion to the Wright Love duet!

Amazon USAmazon UK iBooksB&NKoboGoogle Play

At the end of the first title in this duet, K. A. Linde and I were no longer friends. And, I told her as much.

By the end of this one, she is my favorite again...as this was just perfect.

I can't lie, I was not really expecting to ever get Sutton's story. She always seemed like the one Wright destined to be left behind in the happiness of all the others. She was, maybe, a bit of a plot point in the first books, the death of her husband maverick the stunning, tear-jerker moment that brought the reader into the Wright family and invested them in the stories of the others.

So, when I found out there was going to be a HEA for Sutton, I was thrilled.

Sutton and David. Well, now they just work, don't they? He gets it, and her, so much more than even her family does as he has lost a loved one, and family members, and he has had to figure out how to make it on his own and to leave the things he thought he had in his life behind. So he gets it. And, he gets her, and he sees her. I think it matters, a lot in the end, that the day he first meets Sutton is the day Maverick dies...he's not a part of her past, and that allows him to fully be a part of her future.

There are some twists, and some turns, and some yelling at the author, and the characters. But, by the end you are happy with where this book leaves the Wright family, and Sutton and David in particular.

These books can be read out of order (well, start with the first in the duet) and you don't need to have read the others in the series...but, I recommend it, as part of the beauty of this journey is going on it with Sutton through the glimpses of her in the other Wright stories.

I recommend this title.

THE WRIGHT SECRET BY K.A. LINDE-REVIEW BLITZ

A new brother’s-best-friend stand alone romance by USA Today bestselling author K.A. Linde…

I was just his best friend’s little sister.

But he was always more than that to me.

After twelve years of pining over Patrick’s easy smile, baby blues, and captivating charm, I decide to take matters into my own hands—and completely blow my chance.

Who knew a self-proclaimed manwhore would decide to be a gentleman the first time I’m naked in his bed? Definitely, not me. But when I land there again, neither of us has any intention of stopping.

There’s only one problem: nobody can know. Especially not my three older brothers. If they found out, all hell would break loose.

So I’m willing to keep our secret. Because I want him Wright here, right now.

Patrick and Morgan, well, what can I say. I have been waiting for this one through the whole series and it did not disappoint.

I loved the characters, I loved that Morgan is both strong and insecure. I really loved that no one really doubted that she could be CEO because she was a woman. Yes, there were some doubts about her abilities, but they were focused on her being new and the size of the company...and somewhat driven by outside forces that are spoilers.

I love the way the stories intertwine, how the other characters from the previous stories are a factor in this one, but not in such a way that they detract from the central story of Patrick and Morgan.

And, what a story it was. I loved, LOVED that she thought he pushed her aside and rejected her. This wouldn't have worked if we didn't have the dual POV, but knowing what he was thinking, and the reasons for it, helped to really be able to engage with him even when he was being an idiot.

The chemistry and the connection also really worked. To go from a friends to lovers, there has to be a strong enough connection and draw for me to be willing to believe that they would risk their friendship, and I believed it for Patrick and Morgan.

And, I can't end this without talking about supporting characters, specifically David and Sutton and how much I loved not only their story in this, and the glimpses of their relationship and the fact that there is a duet coming with their story.

I recommend this title, and I am looking forward to the next ones in the series.

A seductive, modern day Romeo and Juliet tale.

One Night by K.L. Kreig
Sex, carnal and unadulterated. It was just one night...yet it was so much more.

Saine and Bennett meet and share a night that, unbeknownst to each of them, is incredibly meaningful.

And, 4 years later, the attraction is still there, it is still between them. Although Bennett recognizes her from the night years ago and Saine does not immediately know who he is. I thought this was interesting and added an edge to the attraction, the idea that one of them was keeping their past from the other.

I like Kreig as this is often an element of the story...a little forbidden, or a twist that means things aren't going to be quite as simple as you would have thought at first. And, even though this was short, that was definitely there in the story.

This is part of an anthology, but I did not read the other titles, so this review is just for this title, which I recommend.

DIRTY LITTLE SECRET BY KENDALL RYAN-REVIEW BLITZ

Gavin Kingsley burst into my life in a sharp and unexpected twist of fate. You know his type—arrogant, dangerously handsome and impossible to ignore. Something dark within him calls to the shadows inside me. I long for the kind of heart-wrenching passion I’ve only read about, and his tragic past reads like one of my favorite literary classics. Raw. Visceral. Captivating. Together, we’re a perfect mess. The deeper I fall into his world, the more I crave him like a drug—he pushes every boundary I have, and challenges everything I thought I wanted. I want to unlock his heart. I want his dirty secrets. But in the end, will he be the blade that cuts me ... or the bond that makes my life complete? Written in the same vein as Kendall Ryan’s New York Times bestselling and much loved international phenomenon, Filthy Beautiful Lies, Dirty Little Secret begins an erotic new series. ADD TO GOODREADS

I love Kendall Ryan and was so very excited to see this type of book coming from her. This title hooked me from the very beginning and left me eagerly awaiting the second title in this duet. There's chemistry, heat...and a cliffhanger. Normally I'm not a fan of cliffhangers but I really thought this was a good one.

I *liked* Emma. I understood her. She's presented with this unique opportunity at a time in her life when she's just getting her footing back. It was very interesting to me to see how she handled her decision and its subsequent consequences. I liked seeing her open up and rediscover herself.

Gavin is, well, hot. I'd become a coffee drinker just to be able to see him daily at a coffee shop. I liked the peeks we got into him but I was always left wanting to know just a bit more-in a good way. I was intrigued and wanted to dive into his mind to see why he behaved the way he did.

There's no denying the heat and pull between these two. At times they both want to resist but that connection is just too strong. It fascinated me to see them begin to figure each other out-only to be thrown a curveball at the end that I just didn't see coming. I need to see how these two are going to handle themselves now!

This story really did grip me. I kept pressing the kindle, hoping more words would appear. This was smartly written and well paced. It definitely left me with questions...but as it has a cliffhanger I'm ok with that. I'm eager to see what is in store for these characters next. I loved this title and recommend it.

I hate reviewing books with a cliffhanger.

Don't get me wrong, I actually love the torture of the cliffhanger. But, I have learned that everyone sees them differently. Some are really curious what happens next. Some are really focused on where it left the characters, and some want to complain with others about how much they love/hate the idea of a cliffhanger.

This books sets up all 3 quite well. There is so much going on with Gavin and Emma, that by the end of the book, you are fascinated and you are drawn in to their story. Their coffee shop flirtation feels so real, and it feels like something that could happen to any of us. I loved that. Romance is a fairy tale...but when I feel like I could be in the fairy tale, it draws me in.

This felt different to me than other Kendall Ryan titles. Her last few titles have been romantic comedies, and they were different than this one, and I love it when I feel that an author I have enjoyed is able to reinvent themselves, to write with a voice that feels different.

I am looking forward to the next one in this series and I recommend this title.

THE WRIGHT MISTAKE BY K.A. LINDE-REVIEW BLITZ

A new stand alone enemies-to-lovers romance by USA Today bestselling author K.A. Linde...

I spent six weeks screwing Austin Wright’s brains out and all I got was this broken heart.

He can’t be trusted. Not with my body or my heart. Yet, two years have passed and I still crave him like an addict needing a fix.

The last time we tried this, it nearly ruined me. I know I should run and never look back. But his dark haunted eyes and razor blade smile speak to my soul. His touch sets my body on fire. And we all know what happens when you light gasoline. Someone is bound to get burned.

A second chance might destroy us both.

Because everyone knows two wrongs don’t make a Wright.

Austin and Julia's story was not an easy read. Not in a bad way, not at all, but it was very emotional and there is a lot in this book that breaks your heart. While this is technically a standalone, I am going to say that it really isn't. Do you need to have read the other books to grasp this one? No...but to get the depth of it, you need to have read them. Go ahead, we will wait, Austin will still be here, and the others are wonderful, so you will enjoy them.

Austin, as you know from the blurb, or from the other books if you have read them, is an alcoholic. Yes, he is high functioning, but he is an alcoholic. Usually, when you read a book about addiction, the characters are already at the bottom, or have started to work their way up from their worst.

Not Austin. He is a happy, functioning alcoholic with a family and a career. And, he thinks all is ok. In a lot of ways, it is...which is one of the really compelling parts of this book. You like Austin, and you are on his side in a lot of ways, you are angry when he is slighted, you want him to be the one who comes out on top. Quite the trick when you also know he is an addict.

You get to know this Austin, and if you liked him (or if you were like me and you didn't) in the previous books, he is a lot different than what you expect. And, he needed to be, at least for me, or the appeal for him and his story would have been lacking.

Julia is strong, she is a survivor, and she wants to be with Austin, but she is afraid. Of who she is, of who he is, and of his addiction.

In many ways, this is a journey of 2 people who need to be fully whole to be together. And, they each have an intense and moving journey. They are different people at the end of the book than they are at the beginning, and they are also better for it. The growth of the characters, and their emotions, in this book is absolutely stunning. I was blown away, more than once, by the way this story was handled and the emotions it invoked.

I definitely recommend this title.
