It's too darn early in the year for a crying book.

And yet here we are.

I can't tell you what made me cry because that's a spoiler...but there was crying. More than once. It's impossible to get through this title without feeling all the feels.

Holden and Sophie are the perfect couple for the last book in this series. They were an interesting mix of simultaneously all in and concerned they were doing the wrong thing. I love that push and pull of the heart and mind.

There was action in this title and a resolution to the mystery that started in the first book, but it almost felt less important than the characters and where they are now, as with time, the sadness fades and the good shines through.

And that for me is really what this book is about. Finding the good in the middle of the bad.

This book was a wonderful emotional journey. I enjoyed and recommend this title.
