Fall hard by Laurelin Paige and Kayti McGee-Blog Tour

FALL HARD (Dating Season #3) by Laurelin Paige and Kayti McGee
Release Date: May 31st
Genre/Tropes: Contemporary, Romantic Comedy

 Blurb:

They say autumn shows us how beautiful it is to let things go… but I’m keeping Ryan’s beard. Past Chloe has a lot to answer for. She’s made a number of questionable decisions, but drunkenly turning Ryan down on a dating app? Currently top of my list. I love fall most of all, but oh my gourd, Ryan’s beard is fast becoming a close second. Luckily, he’s ready to give me a second chance. We have everything in common, from art to weird history facts to the correct opinions about Titanic. And boy, does he know how to pumpkin spice it up in the bedroom. We could easily be the cutest new couple in Boulder… if we ever leave his place. Episode three of six in the hilarious, steamy Dating Season.

Oh Chloe, Chloe, Chloe. What am I going to do with you?? That's the question I asked myself the moment this ARC showed up on my kindle. I thought I knew what I was getting into-but these authors definitely know how to keep it fresh.

I'm loving Chloe and all of her quirks. I appreciate that she owns them all; she doesn't hide from who she is. She both cracks me up and has me shaking my head at different times. I'm really enjoying her dating roller coaster-even if I'm ready to see her finally have her happiness with a certain someone. Please, let it be Austin! :)

I love how these authors are weaving this series. These characters are fantastic. The writing is funny, real and honest. I swear it's like visiting with friends each time I read the books in this series. Now, this one had me frantically trying to turn the page at the end of the book-I wasn't ready for that little cliffhanger!!! Bring on the next installment, please!!!

I enjoyed this book very much and would absolutely recommend it.

Oh Chloe. Poor Chloe.

Our intrepid heroine is still trying, valiantly, to not only figure out dating but also trying to avoid having to die on any hills. And, really, both are pretty important things to have a handle on...and, she is trying.

So, in her current attempts to avoid her feelings for Austin AND find the love of her life, she meets and begins a relationship with Ryan. Well, possibly with his beard.

What you ask? Although, at this point in our journey with Chloe you should be well past asking "WHAT?" and just embracing her as she is.

Ryan goes pretty well...until he doesn't. As that is how all of her relationships seem to go...although the writing for this one was on the wall earlier in the relationship than it has been in the others, which I think is showing some willingness to grow on Chloe's part, which is good.

I am still hoping Austin is the end game, possibly because I really want Chloe to get what I want her to have...but I am also certain these authors have a plan for our heroine and I will love the ending, no matter who she ends up with. (Although, seriously, it had better be Austin.)

I enjoyed and recommend this title.

 About Laurelin Paige:

With millions of books sold worldwide, Laurelin Paige is a New York Times, Wall Street Journal and USA Today Bestselling Author. She is a sucker for a good romance and gets giddy anytime there’s kissing, much to the embarrassment of her three daughters. Her husband doesn’t seem to complain, however. When she isn’t reading or writing sexy stories, she’s probably singing, watching Killing Eve or Letterkenny, or dreaming of Michael Fassbender. She's also a proud member of Mensa International though she doesn't do anything with the organization except use it as material for her bio. She is represented by Rebecca Friedman.
