Seeking a fun, flirty, sexy romance? Look no further than The What If Guy. This book had me smiling one minute and fanning myself the next. I absolutely LOVED every minute of this story and would rate it more than five stars if I could.

I love how smart and self confident Bryn is. She is not afraid to take control, or to relinquish it when she wants. She has a great, fun circle of friends. Bryn is someone I would want to be friends with and have in my corner. I absolutely adored her.

Logan. Holy sexy, smoldering, hot Logan. This man had me right from the start-literally. I loved watching him interact with his friends, with his daughter and of course, with Bryn. Did I mention he was sexy?? This man is adorable about dating and has some serious dirty talk game. Logan is absolutely one of my top five Blakely heroes. In fact, I'm just going to go ahead and claim him as mine...but you can enjoy him while you read, too.

The chemistry between these two is positively off the charts. It crackles on the page, and let me tell you, you'll need to have a fan on hand...and maybe some extra batteries. These two are just electric in the bedroom. That being said, watching them fall for each other outside the bedroom was fun. I believed in them, and cheered them on, right from the start. I love their flirty side, their fun side, and their sexy side.

I have to give mad props to some supporting characters here...the cats. Oh, my god, the cats. I could not stop laughing every time we got their perspective. These two ALMOST stole the show. I am smiling just thinking about them.

Now, the human supporting characters were just as fun. There are hints into characters who will have future stories, and I'm already chomping at the bit for those. But they highlight Bryn and Logan very well. You could drop me in any Lauren Blakely book and I would be a happy camper. This has some fun Easter eggs in here for those who have read other titles by this Author (if you haven't, trust me, you want to start) that always make me smile.

The writing here flowed and the story was great. I was fortunate enough to listen to an early audio copy and I cannot RAVE about it enough. These narrators are absolutely incredible in their performances. This is my favorite Joe Arden work to date-and I loved him in Birthday Suit. Andi Arndt is a goddess for sure. But Emma Wilder and Santino Fontana just KILLED in this book. I urge anyone who hasn't tried an audiobook to try this; I have NO doubt you'll love it.

The What If Guy is in my top five all time favorite Lauren Blakely books. It's hot, fun, and oh so very sexy. This is a book I will absolutely read, and listen to, over and over. I highly recommend this title.

I know it's probably silly, but one of the best thing about this book are the cats. (I'll just pause here for the inevitable pussy jokes...) Done now? Awesome.

Not telling you anything about the cats, especially not their names. But I will say, I am fairly certain my cat, Maxwell, snuck out of his forced captivity to give Ms. Blakely his opinions on the trials of feline life.

Ok, so now that we are past this cat talk, let's talk about how much I loved Logan and Bryn. Their romance was not only a romance, but it was about 2 people who opened themselves up to something new and, almost by accident, found a part of themselves that had been closed off. That's life, it's growth, it's the unexpected and the days that seem ordinary but turn out to be the ones that change your life.

I loved that, so much. I also loved the way it was handled. Both Logan and Bryn have a past, and both of them (like we all do) have reacted to the things that have happened to them by becoming cautious, or closed off in ways, or they have learned to live with things that were "good enough" instead of taking the risk for more. And, this book is about finding the thing that makes you want to take the risk, but not for them, for you.

There's a part in this that really illustrated this for me, this idea that you can allow life to change you in positive ways without anyone but you getting the credit that I absolutely loved...but, nope, not telling you that here.

I adored this book. It is, yet again, a book by Lauren Blakely that is a pleasure to read and absolutely sadness when it ends. the way any great book will always leave you...satisfied, but wanting more.

I enjoyed and recommend this title.
