Blurb:

A sweeping, second chance standalone romance! I was pretty good at living without regrets until a way too close call during a skydive. Instead of my life flashing before my eyes, I saw one face, one regret that’s been gnawing at me ever since—Presley. The woman I loved madly ten years ago. The woman I had to walk away from. At first, all I want is to sort out why I can’t get her out of my head. But as soon as I see Presley again, I know I have to win her back at any cost. Brilliant, captivating and utterly beautiful, she’s the one I want. Fate steps in when we’re asked to pair up to find a treasure in art and antiques. It’s an opportunity I can’t pass up—to uncover a path back to the woman I let get away while we chase down a love story a hundred years in the making. Trouble is, Presley is tougher now, more wary, and she’s been hurt. By me. So it's going to take a whole lot more than one hot kiss and a wild adventure together to convince her to give me a second chance.

Second chance romances are one of my all time favorite tropes. There's something just so satisfying about them to me-and P.S. It's Always Been You definitely left me satisfied. This story was so sharp, smart and so intricate. I was sucked into this story and these characters from start to finish. P.S. It's Always Been You left me sighing and smiling-and as always, wishing I lived in this little universe!

I love how this story is told. I enjoyed getting to know Hunter and Presley. Now, I'm not going to lie. There were moments here where Hunter just drove me crazy. It took a bit for him to grow on me. While I understood his outlook, I didn't always agree with it. But he did grow on me, and I did absolutely root for him and for Presley. I think the way these characters came together was just right for them.

This isn't the first Lauren Blakely book to feature a scavenger hunt, but I have to say how much I loved the hunt in this book. It was epic in and of itself and I appreciated how it was woven into this story. Definitely made me swoon!

This book flowed so well for me. It's smart and fun, which I've come to expect from this Author, and there is some heat as well. I loved falling in love with these characters, and enjoyed their journey immensely.

I love a good second chance romance. Add in buried treasure and a (clever) scavenger hunt, and sign me up twice.

Hunter and Presley were in love...when they were young. And, in the way the young often do, they forgot that love isn't easy to find and should be cherished and nurtured. But, in the way that often happens in life, I got the impression that they wouldn't have worked 10 years ago. That life would have pulled them in different directions and then pulled them apart...so it is almost better that when they found one another again, they were ready to be together.

As always, this story works well. I loved the characters, the banter, the settings and I really loved the little twist at the end (nope, not telling you) that made it all the more fun of a story.

I enjoyed and recommend this title.
