My Brother's Billionaire Best Friend by Max Monroe-Release Blitz

One minute, I’m a woman trying to find her way in the world, and the next, I’m the sender of six of the most embarrassing text messages that have ever been sent in the history of time—or the cell phone.

Whatever.

My Brother’s Billionaire Best Friend, a hilarious romantic comedy from New York Times bestselling author Max Monroe, is available now!

Mabel “Maybe” Willis died a virgin at the very young age of twenty-four.

She leaves behind her parents, Betty and Bruce, her brother, Evan, a laptop filled with one too many Jason Momoa memes, and a Kindle library with more books than one human being could ever finish in a lifetime.

Cause of death: a text message.

Okay. So, I didn’t die.

But I may as well have.

One minute, I’m a woman trying to find her way in the world, and the next, I’m the sender of six of the most embarrassing text messages that have ever been sent in the history of time—or the cell phone. Whatever.

We’re talking code red, send a flipping mayday, the apocalypse is coming kind of texts.

And I didn’t just send them to some random person I’ll never see again.

No. That would be too easy.

I sent them to Milo Ives.

The man who played a starring role in all of my teenage fantasies—and my brother’s lifelong best friend.

And, boy oh boy, has he grown up.

He’s hard-bodied, blue-eyed, jawline-of-stone handsome, crazy successful, and has more money in his bank account than my brain can fathom.

Deflower me, please? I said.

Yeah. Send help.

Oh, Max Monroe. You've done it again-left me a smiling mess at the end of a book. I've adored Max Monroe since I first discovered them. I know if I need a book that is going to make me laugh, like laugh out loud so much that people look at me funnily, and yet still make me swoon that I should pick up one of their books. My Brother's Billionaire Best Friend was no different for me.

I like Maybe. She's funny and smart-and really likeable. This is someone who I would have fun with and would enjoy hanging out with. She's adorkably awkward which I think adds to her realness.

Milo is a good guy. He doesn't pretend to be someone he's not and doesn't let his money go to his head. Watching him interact with Maybe made me grin and fall for him right along with her.

I believed in the attraction between these two. I enjoyed the buildup here, and it felt right for these characters. The pacing of their relationship worked for me and I loved watching them figure things out.

Max and Monroe create such a fun little world, a world I wouldn't mind visiting and hanging out at for a while. I loved seeing some old familiar faces in this book, and I'm not going to lie, I kind of geeked out over Maybe using a certain app...which just made me want to go back and read an earlier Max Monroe book (my favorite-their first book).

This book had me smiling and laughing and swooning over Milo. It was a quick read-perfect for the beach this summer. I enjoyed this title and would recommend it.

This book was funny. And, well, I was expecting it to be, as it's Max Monroe.

Maybe and Milo knew one another years ago and Maybe had a crush. The problem? They see one another again and he doesn't remember. A whole bunch of stuff happens, and then there are some...texts. And, a few specific invitations.

And, then there is the attraction and the romance. I felt the attraction, but I think I wanted a little more of the romance. The book became all about one thing, when I thought it could have been about the rest of their relationship, and how it developed. Don't get me wrong, this was in there...but, I think I wanted more, I wanted them to really develop into something more a little bit more than they did.

I did, however, enjoy the book. I laughed. I cringed, I felt for them and for their emotions. I was interested in the characters and the story, and I wanted to see how it resolved.

I enjoyed and recommend this title.
