I am always a little leery going into a book that has the relationship based on a lie. It's not my favorite trope, I can't lie (no pun intended) but, when the book is by Ava Harrison, well, there was no hesitation on my part that I wanted to read it.

Oliver and Addison didn't disappoint. This book was not only really engaging, but I believed in the relationships...not only the main one, but also the one with Oliver and his mother, which matters a lot for the story. But, no spoilers.

And, then we have an issue. No spoilers is important...and also this is a hard one to review without them.So, I guess what I will say is I loved the characters. i liked the plotting and I believed in the story arc as well as the evolution of the characters. And, in a book that is based on a lie, and started with one, that says a lot about the writing, and how well it is written.

I enjoyed and recommend this title.
