Kendall Ryan is a one click author for me-I'm always excited to see what she has to offer. The blurb for this one definitely had me raising my eyebrows. Fake relationship stories aren't anything new to me-in fact, I generally like them. But this story had a whole new element to it and I was intrigued to see how this Author would spin it.

I liked Elle from the start. I thought she was really relatable and just adorable. She's someone I would hang out with for sure. She's smart and fun, but she's vulnerable too. I loved seeing her come out of her shell with Nic.

Nic...I'm not going to lie. I wasn't sure HOW I was going to feel about him. I wasn't sure I'd be able to trust this character because if he's an escort he's good at playing different parts, right? So how could I believe in what he was telling Elle? Well, I shouldn't have worried. Nic is a great book boyfriend-he's smart, sexy and fun. I really love the journey he went on in this book.

There's no denying the attraction between these two. It's immediate-and believable. Absolutely believable. I liked seeing how their relationship developed because it wasn't all about the bedroom. Don't get me wrong, their sexy times were sexy BUT watching them navigate the other aspects of their relationship was gratifying.

I enjoyed the supporting cast of characters here. They didn't overshadow Nic or Elle in any way. This plot was completely new and fun to me and I loved how the Author put her flair into it.

I really enjoyed this book and look forward to what the Author brings us next. I recommend this book!

What does a friend do when she finds out another good friend is going to be single at your wedding...and that her ex is going to be at the wedding? You hire her an escort, but you don't tell her he is an escort...as you just want her to be happy and have someone by her side at the wedding. When she falls for that escort? OOPS

Elle and Nic are a set up. Although, generally, when one hires an escort, one knows this. Elle, however, doesn't have any idea. None. She thinks Nic is attracted to her, that he is with her because he wants to be, and not because he is being paid to be there.

The issue? He is. Nic has real feelings for Elle, and he is not sure how she is going to react when she finds out that he is an escort? Will he be able to convince her that he is with her because he wants to be? Will she believe him? Will she be able to get past his career?

I loved the depth that was given to the story by all of these questions. And, would it be possible to love a man who was initially hired as an escort? Would you ever believe that he was there for you? I think these are all very real questions. I have no personal experience with hiring an escort...but, I would think it would be kind of like dating an actor. How do you know when to believe him?

None of these are easy questions, and it matters a lot that this is written strongly and you truly believe in the connection between Nic and Elle. You believe that he really is in love with her, that he really wants to be someone else for her...as even if you are able to get past the fact that he was an escort...I am not sure it would be possible to be involved with someone who is working as one.

I enjoyed the story arc of this title, the characters, and I believed the resolution of the story. I recommend this title.
