BRO CODE BY KENDALL RYAN-RELEASE DAY LAUNCH

From New York Times bestselling author Kendall Ryan comes a flirty new standalone about falling for your older brother's best friend.

There’s pretty much only one rule when you’re a guy. Don’t be a douche. Turns out, the fastest way to break that rule is to fall for your best friend’s sister. Ava’s brilliant, sharp-tongued, gorgeous, and five years younger than me. She’s the sexual equivalent of running with scissors. In a word, she’s dangerous. And completely off-limits. Falling for her could ruin everything. Yet I can’t seem to stop, even when her company is threatened by a lawsuit, and my promotion hinges on representing the opposing client—and winning. I can’t see a way out of this mess that doesn’t end in a broken friendship, a broken heart, or a ruined career. I may have broken the bro code when I fell for Ava. But do I have the balls to handle what comes next?

Kendall Ryan is one of my few automatic one click authors. When I read a Kendall Ryan book I know it's going to be good and allow me to escape real life for a bit. Combine her writing with what might be my all time favorite trope? Well, you get Bro Code. A fun, best friend's little sister/forbidden romance? Yes, please.

I really liked Ava and Barrett. I loved the connection that they had initially-and loved watching it grow and change. It seemed incredibly authentic. I could relate to these characters easily, felt their connection and shook my head as they tried to deny it. These are people I could see myself hanging out with and just having fun.

The sex here was hot and steamy-there were definitely kindle melting moments. But there is so much more to these two than just sex. Watching them navigate their new relationship was incredibly satisfying.

The pacing worked here. The plot worked. I enjoyed reading this Author's take on this trope. This was a fun book to escape with, and it was a quick read for me because I didn't want to put it down. I enjoyed this book and would absolutely recommend it.

Ava and Barrett were a fun and flirty "forbidden" romance.

And, wow was this one hot. There was something about them together that just worked for me. And, when you really feel tje connection between the characters, it makes the story work really well.

Was this a particularly original story? No, it wasn't. But when it works this well, that really doesn't matter.

I enjoyed this title, and I recommend it.
