I liked how Emma and Matthew met. I enjoyed that instant chemistry between them-it sizzled and snapped at me right off the pages. I liked watching Matthew with Emma. I thought he did a good job explaining the lifestyle to her and helping her figure things out for himself. As I mentioned, their chemistry was insanely sexy. The sexy times were hot and the times they were just Matthew and Emma? I liked those, too.
The supporting characters here worked. They didn't overwhelm Matthew and Emma in the least, even though some of them are mentioned throughout the book.
The writing was strong and I think the pacing worked very well for this book and these characters. There was one scene that I didn't see coming and that I would have liked to have seen a tiny bit more of, but that's just me. This book was hot and sexy and I enjoyed it. I would recommend this title.

I want more of him. More, more, more is the chant in my brain, and I try to move, to pull him closer, but I can’t. Shock and frustration hit me as I remember that I can’t move my arms. He has them pinned against the wall and all I can do is let him kiss me. My breath goes short in my chest, and I realize that he’s made me wet again. Damn him for being such a good kisser, because that’s all it is. I’m turned on from the kiss, and not from the fact that he’s restricting my movement.
He pulls away for a moment. “Spread your legs.”
I do.
“Farther.”
