STORMCHASER BY CHERRY ADAIR-BLOG TOUR

Somewhere off the coast of Greece, a king’s ransom in gold, emeralds, and silver coins lies waiting at the bottom of the sea. Finding this ancient treasure would be a dream come true for marine archeologist Calista West. But that’s not why she’s here. She didn’t climb aboard Jonah Cutter’s magnificent yacht seeking fortune or fame. She’s come for revenge—against the sexiest, most seductive, modern-day pirate she’s ever encountered…

Like his famous half brothers, Jonah is a master of salvaging ships—and driving women mad with his movie-star looks and raw animal magnetism. Tall, dark, and devastating, he manages to make Callie forget her mission. Every moment they share under the hot Mediterranean sun is an erotically-charged adventure neither can resist. But when Callie discovers what he’s really after—the lost city of Atlantis—is it too late to change the course of her heart…or go all in with the lover of her dreams?

The Cutter Cay series is:

"Action-packed drama." —Fresh Fiction

"Sizzlingly sexy." —Booklist

Q&A WITH CHERRY ADAIR

1. Your novels span many genres. Do you have a favorite?

It depends where I am in the process. Usually my favorite is the one that I just finished. Or the book I'm writing that's going exceptionally well-that one will be my favorite that day. I love writing Chapter One, and I love writing The End. So the answer is- every day I have a different favorite. Lol

2. It’s been a few years since we’ve visited Cutter Cay, are you glad to be back? And what inspired you to return?

Cutter Cay was always intended to be six books. (or as I like to say - a 6 book trilogy lol) Undertow, Riptide, Vortex, Stormchaser. Hurricane and finally Whirlpool (the redhead everyone has been waiting for.)

3. All writers put a little bit of themselves in their stories or characters, is there a certain hero or heroine that could be your alter-ego?

I like to think that my heroines get a little of my snark, and a pinch of my kick butt personality, it would be hard to make them otherwise, but because of each character's backstory they aren't me. (which is probably a Good Thing lol)

4. With your two Cutter Cay Series books being published so close together, I’m wondering if you have something new coming our way.

Whirlpool Cutter Cay book #6 comes out in July, and then at the end of 2017 another Fallen Agents Of T-FLAC Absolute book (Following Absolute Doubt)

5. What is your favorite part of being a novelist?

Everything. I love the process of writing, enjoy plotting the book, love the marketing aspect and especially love interacting with readers and new authors on Facebook.

At an airport baggage claim, Penny Darling looks up from her knotted mess of ear buds to find the sexiest hunk of man she's ever seen. He's got a military haircut, a scar through his eyebrow, and he's rocking a pastel pink dress shirt like only a real man can. But Penny is on a man-free diet so she leaves the airport without succumbing to his delicious double-entendres...or his dreamy dimples.

Because it is.

HOT ZONE CARLY PHILLIPS-REVIEW

Hot Stuff
Book 1

He's about to find out … She's not just one of the guys.
Annabelle Jordan and her two sisters were orphans in frilly dresses when they went to live with their sports-lawyer uncle in his world of locker rooms, bookies and gambling. Now the girls are publicists in their uncle's firm, The Hot Zone.
Despite her upbringing, Annabelle is all woman. She's naturally drawn to real men—like her latest client, businessman and former football legend Brandon Vaughn.
The chemistry is potent, undeniable, irresistible. Annabelle soon realizes that Brandon is much more than just another jock. And that she'd better hold on tight if she doesn't want to lose her heart.

Hot Number
Book 2
Micki Jordan is a tomboy as much at home on the playing field as in a locker room full of naked guys.
But the star publicist is looking to prove she's also an irresistible woman in order to get a second shot at professional baseball player and major league playboy, Damian Fuller.
Micki transforms herself into one hot number Damian can't help but notice and together they burn up the sheets and find themselves falling hard. Until Damian's past returns, threatening their future.

Hot Item
Book 3

Cool, collected Sophie Jordan loves her daily routine running her family's top sports management agency, as long as she gets to stay behind the scenes. But with big sister on maternity leave and little sis on her honeymoon, she's forced to step up to the plate. And a recent media crisis surrounding the disappearance of super-agent Spenser Atkins is not going to make the job any easier.
Enter star quarterback and notorious bad boy Riley Nash who, for reasons of his own, needs to track down Atkins. Up until now, Sophie has kept a strict no-dating-clients policy, but each day with Riley makes her rule near impossible to follow. With her job and her heart on the line, Sophie will need to make the toughest choice of her life!

Hot Property
Book 4

Just one short season ago, major league center fielder John Roper had it all: the looks—and personal life—of a sports hero and the public's adoration. But this hot property's lucky streak has run out. After a World Series disaster, fans diss him, shock jocks mock him and his dysfunctional family hassles him for money he really can't spare.
Now it's up to him, and Hot Zone publicist Amy Stone, to get his life back on track.
Amy finds it's easier said than done. What with the constant intrusions of his nutty family, a crazed fan playing stalker, and Roper's refusal to put his own needs first, she's starting to think that life in the fast lane isn't all it's cracked up to be. But when the two retreat to a secluded lodge, the sexy center fielder throws Amy a curveball—one she never saw coming...

The Hot Zone series by Carly Phillips has always been one of my favorites.  And, as they are being reissued and updated, it seems like I am not the only one who feels this way.

And with good reason.

The story of the 4 women who work for their uncle at his sports agency, and the athletes they get involved with are timeless...although ironically, in this case, they have also been updated ad given a more modern feel.  The impressive part, for me, is that the books don't lose any of their original fun, they just feel like they are taking place now with details that have been updated from the originals that were published in print a while ago.  They are all 5 star reads now, just like they were in the past.  And, while I was going to review each of them separately, they really are a series...so we decided to handle these books as one, especially as they were reissued together with the same publication date.

Carly Phillips tells a great story with these, whether it is now with the updated ones or years ago with the originals...and, honestly, you can't go wrong reading any of them.

THE ROOM MATE BY KENDALL RYAN-REVIEW

The last time I saw my best friend’s younger brother, he was a geek wearing braces. But when Cannon shows up to crash in my spare room, I get a swift reality check.

Now twenty-four, he’s broad shouldered and masculine, and so sinfully sexy, I want to climb him like the jungle gyms we used to enjoy. At six-foot-something with lean muscles hiding under his T-shirt, a deep sexy voice, and full lips that pull into a smirk when he studies me, he’s pure temptation.

Fresh out of a messy breakup, he doesn’t want any entanglements. But I can resist, right?

I’m holding strong until the third night of our new arrangement when we get drunk and he confesses his biggest secret of all: he’s cursed when it comes to sex. Apparently he’s a god in bed, and women instantly fall in love with him.

I’m calling bullshit. In fact, I’m going to prove him wrong, and if I rack up a few much-needed orgasms in the process, all the better.

There’s no way I’m going to fall in love with Cannon. But once we start…I realize betting against him may have been the biggest mistake of my life.

THE ROOM MATE is a full-length standalone romance.

The blurb doesn't do this story justice. While it was lighthearted, and while the blurb is accurate, this book is also a lot more than initially presented in the blurb. When you first meet Cannon, the internal dialog makes you think he is not going to be a great guy...but you find out quickly that this is not the case, that he has some pretty good reasons, and that there is a lot more to him that meets the eye. Although, the parts of him that meet the eye are pretty impressive, as Paige finds out fairly quickly.

Cannon and Paige were a different story than I was expecting. It starts out light, and flirty but through events that happen, the relationship becomes a lot deeper, much to the surprise of both of them. And, I loved how the author handled this. I loved how authentic it felt...they were drawn to one another emotionally as well as physically, even though they were not expecting this as the outcome.

I liked and related to Paige. I liked that she was honest, that she was straightforward, and I liked the she was willing to ask for what she wanted. This made her compelling as it made her his equal, especially as he moved forward with his career. I liked that Cannon was in his final parts of medical school, this made the age gap seem irrelevant. 24 is young. A 24 year old doctor who has always been older than his years and is dedicated is not so young. And it definitely helped close the gap of the 4 year age difference with him and Paige.

The story was paced well, and the characters were authentic. The only issue I have is the portrayal of him, and the internal dialog at the beginning, turned me off a little. Not enough to stop reading or ruin the book for me...but I felt like I was introduced to Cannon twice, once in the first chapter and again a couple chapters later.

I definitely recommend this book and am looking forward to the next one in the series.

SWEET SPOT BY STELLA RHYS-COVER REVEAL

Title: Sweet Spot
Author: Stella Rhys
Genre: Romantic Comedy/Contemporary Romance
Cover Design: Sara Eirew
Release Date: March 30, 2017

Blurb

Our first meeting as neighbors was screwed from the start.

He was hot. I was naked. And we had no chance in hell at ever being platonic.

I’ll be the first to admit that I live at extremes. After going ten years locked in what felt like a dysfunctional marriage, I’m now decidedly boy-free. In nearly three years I’ve had no boyfriends, no flings, no dates and no sex. For the sake of my dream career, the sacrifice has been easy.

At least it was.

Until Lukas came along.

He’s rude, gorgeous, arrogant – a stone-carved wall of muscle and distraction. He’s everything I know to avoid but there’s no avoiding your next-door neighbor. Oh yeah. The man now lives three steps from me and to make matters worse, he crashed into my life while I was soaked in the tub. Mortifying to say the least and it went something like this: I ran out exposed. He looked. He laughed.

And then I locked myself out.

In short, Lukas Hendricks was smirking, swaggering trouble from the start. And me?

I was – for the first time in years – about to be screwed.

AMERICAN PRINCE BY SIERRA SIMONE-BLOG TOUR

SBPR-AMERICANPRINCE-BT.jpg

American Prince, the highly-anticipated follow up to American Queen by Sierra Simone is available now!!

american-prince-amazonI’ve been many things.
I’ve been a son and a stepbrother. An Army captain and a Vice President.
But only with Him am I a prince. His little prince.
Only with Maxen and Greer does my world make sense, only between them can I find peace from the demons that haunt me. But men like me aren’t made to be happy. We don’t deserve it. And I should have known a love as sharp as ours could cut both ways.
My name is Embry Moore and I serve at the pleasure of the President of the United States…for now.
This is the story of an American Prince.

Cliffhanger books are hard to review without spoilers (I am guessing that is not a spoiler as it is listed as part of a trilogy) because where the book starts and ends is a huge giveaway as to the resolution of the 1st cliffhanger and the set up for the next.

So, what the heck do I say here?

I can say that this is not a standalone, that you need to have read “American Queen” before you read  this one, as there is not really a way for you to pick this one up without knowing the backstory.

I can say that, yet again, Sierra Simone can tell one heck of a story.  You cry, you are on the edge of your seat.  When the book ends, it is a tragedy and you WANT the rest of the story.  It is a testament to the strength of her writing and ability to tell a story that you are engaged at the end of the 2nd book and 2nd cliffhanger.

This is Embry’s story.  I love that you get to know him, that you see where he is coming from, the way he thinks, why he does the things he does, and why he reacts as he does.

I want to say so much about this book.  But I don’t want to ruin it for anyone who reads the book after reading this review, so I am going to leave this here.

I loved this book, I recommend it, and I can’t wait for the next one!

Oh my gawd !!

Where do I even begin ??

American Prince is the 2nd installment to American Queen a book that literally left me speechless , I couldn't wait for this one and let me tell you it was it was EVERYTHING and more than I expected .

My soul hurt for Maxen , Greer and Embry.

My heart ached for Embry . Everything he does is for those he loves even if that means hurting himself in the process. There were times I wanted to throw my kindle , squeeze Embry and just take a moment to absorb what I read . There are twists and turns I didn't even see coming. All I thought was damn Sierra is amazing !

The sexy scenes HOLY hotness so much sexy I promise you'll need a cold shower after !!

Sierra has created something so different, so special , her writing is perfection . This story will captivate you from beginning to end. I seriously cannot wait for American King.

I have been positively dying to get my hands on this book from the moment I finished American Queen. I won an ARC from the author and read it in one sitting-I just couldn't stop. While I love ALL of these characters-and Sierra Simone makes it impossible for you not to love and feel for ALL of them-I desperately wanted Embry's story. I NEEDED it. I was frantic to understand more about him, to explore his depths that were merely hinted at in American Queen. This book just blew me away in the best way possible.

Embry broke my heart-multiple times-in this book. I wanted to shake him, hold him, love him and beg him to open his eyes and see what he had. I was drawn to him like a moth to a flame. I knew he would wreck me but I just didn't care. I feverishly turned the pages of the book, drinking in his thoughts, his attitudes. Seeing his relationship with Ash was just beautiful and I couldn't get enough. Seeing him with Ash and Greer? Just gutted me. The love and passion there is undeniable.

The sex scenes are positively scorching. I wanted to devour them and savor them at the same time. Sierra Simone has a knack for making me ache just as badly as her characters are aching. Pure perfection. There is one scene in particular that had my heart pounding as I knew there was a shift coming-and I wasn't prepared.

There were times I wanted to throw my kindle against the wall. There are characters I wish I could wipe out of the book BUT I trust Sierra Simone as I trust few other authors. I know she is going to deliver a conclusion to this trilogy that is epic and worthy of Embry, Ash and Greer as only she can. I was left crying at the end of this book, my heart cracking and splintering for our characters. I will read this book over and over again, knowing my heart will break into pieces-but Sierra Simone makes it worth it. I am eagerly awaiting American King...but I know part of me will always, always serve at the pleasure of our American Prince.

In an instant, he was on me, straddling my thighs, one hand yanking my head back so I had to look up into his face. “Don’t play games with me,” Ash warned in a low voice. “Not tonight. Not after what you did. You don’t even want to know the things I’m thinking about right now.” I could barely breathe. Pain sang out from my shoulder and hunger sang out from my thickening cock. I was at the mercy of a monster—in the hands of an angry god, as they say—and I’d never felt more alive. It was like kissing his boot, like that first moment I’d been shot at in the trees—the whole world came to life, the forest thrumming and the leaves rustling and my blood and heart all part of this incredible symphony of magic and music that was playing all the time, if only I had the ears to listen. Being with Ash was like my battle high, the fragility of life so apparent, the thrill of surviving it so exhilarating. Surviving him. “Take it,” I said, my fantasies from all those years ago coming back and making me stir underneath him. “What?” he asked quietly. “Take what you’re owed. Take what you deserve for saving my life.” His lips parted, his eyes hooded, and he pulled my head back even more, exposing my throat. “And what exactly do you owe me?” he asked. “What exactly do I deserve?” I met his eyes, which were almost black in the dark. “Whatever you want.” “What I want will have you flat on the ground with tears in your eyes. You think you want to give that to me?” “No.” I swallowed. “I want you to take it from me.” He went still. “Let me thank you,” I begged. “Let me make you feel better. Use me. Use me how you need.” “Oh, that’s what you want, is it?” he breathed. He leaned in, his thighs on my throbbing erection, and I felt his own, an iron bulge pressing into my stomach. It was massive. He’d tear me apart with it. “You won’t let me have you any other time, not with kisses or love letters, but when you’re bleeding and I’m furious, that’s when you’ll open yourself to me? That’s when I get to have this?” How could I make him understand? That it had to be like this? That I had to be conquered, not wooed?
