Fangirl Down by Tessa Bailey- ARC Review

Wells Whitaker was once golf’s hottest rising star, but lately, all he has to show for his “promising” career is a killer hangover, a collection of broken clubs, and one remaining supporter. No matter how bad he plays, the beautiful, sunny redhead is always on the sidelines. He curses, she cheers. He scowls, she smiles. But when Wells quits in a blaze of glory and his fangirl finally goes home, he knows he made the greatest mistake of his life.

Josephine Doyle believed in the gorgeous, grumpy golfer, even when he didn’t believe in himself. Yet after he throws in the towel, she begins to wonder if her faith was misplaced. Then a determined Wells shows up at her door with a wild proposal: be his new caddy, help him turn his game around, and split the prize money. And considering Josephine’s professional and personal life is in shambles, she could really use the cash…

As they travel together, spending days on the green and nights in neighboring hotel rooms, sparks fly. Before long, they’re inseparable, Wells starts winning again, and Josephine is surprised to find a sweet, thoughtful guy underneath his gruff, growly exterior. This hot man wants to brush her hair, feed her snacks, and take bubble baths together? Is this real life? But Wells is technically her boss and an athlete falling for his fangirl would be ridiculous… right?

I'm not a sports fan. And I'm definitely not a fan of golf, but it's Tessa Bailey and I knew I was going to love Wells and Josephine... even if it was a golf romance.

And I did. I loved this book. I loved both of the characters and who they were both as people and together.

You can't help but respond to how much Wells loves Josephine and how willing he is to put what she needs above his own needs. And how out of character it is for him (or at least who he's convinced himself he is.)

There's something so beautiful and relatable in the idea of finding someone to help you be the best you until you can do it on your own but still want them there, and that was the core of this story.

I loved their connection, the sex and dirty talk are what you expect from a Tessa Bailey title, it was funny in parts and broke your heart in others. It was perfect.

I enjoyed and recommend this title.

Wild For You by Kristen Proby - ARC Review & Release Blitz

From New York Times bestselling author Kristen Proby comes an all-new small-town series set in Montana, starting with WILD FOR YOU, an Age-Gap, Single Dad, Nanny, Grumpy/Sunshine romance!

Remington Wild is a single dad of two adorable kids, and as the oldest son of the Wild family, has recently taken over the Wild River Ranch from his father. Life is crazy, and he’s finally willing to admit that he needs help, and the sooner the better. He has no idea that the beautiful woman he sees every day at Bitterroot Valley Coffee Co. is the woman who would show up for the job.

Erin Montgomery couldn’t get out of Seattle fast enough. It’s not that she doesn’t love her big, loud family, but living in the big city just wasn’t for her. The minute she stepped foot in Bitterroot Valley, she knew she was home. She loves the slower pace, the friendly people, and her job at the coffee shop. Even the smoking hot grumpy guy who stops in every afternoon can’t put a damper on how much she loves small town life!

Thanks to car trouble, and her stubbornness when it comes to using her trust fund, Erin needs a second job and applies for the position of a part-time nanny. She’s surprised to find that it’s Grumpy himself who answers the door at the ranch, but Erin quickly learns that she loves his kids and the ranch, and it’s a no-brainer to take the job. She just has to remind herself to resist the sexy rancher and keep it strictly professional.

Remington is attracted to his younger nanny, and finds himself falling headfirst in love with her. He and his kids have never been happier, and he knows she is the perfect addition to their family for as long as she’s willing to stay. Hopefully forever.

But when secrets are exposed, one of which endangers his children, will their love survive? Or will it tear them apart?

Enchanting the CEO by Layla Hagen - ARC Review & Release Blitz

She’s a white-picket-fence kind of girl, but I only do casual. My first mistake? Asking her to be my roommate.

Gabe

When someone’s down on their luck, I like to help out. Diane needed a place to stay, and my attic was empty. How hard could it be to have a temporary roommate?

It turns out—very hard.

Living with her is turning out to be physically impossible. Every time she saunters through the living room, I can’t help but want her. Whenever she gives me sass, I fantasize about kissing that mouth until she begs for more.

But she is my employee’s sister and that is a line I can’t cross…or can I?

Diane

At first I was a little leery about accepting Gabe’s offer, because he’s my sister’s boss. But Gabe is the best. He’s not only generous and fun (and hot!), but also considerate.

One night after dinner in the city he does the gentlemanly thing and walks me to my door — only, I manage to stumble, rip my dress and flash him my various lady parts.

It’s a full-on disaster! Or so I think.

The man gives me the hottest kiss of my life— toe curling, sparks-flying, panty-melting hot. Even though I’ve just been through the break-up from hell, I can’t resist his charms.

But I don’t want to embarrass my sister by getting involved with Gabe. Besides, he and I want different things in life.

Just this once, though, I’d love to throw caution to the wind…

Head Over Heels by Karla Sorensen - ARC Review & Release Blitz

A person and person kissing

Description automatically generated

There’s only one course of action when your dad wants you to marry a clammy-handed wimp to make one of his board members happy—you get yourself stuck in an elevator with a hot stranger and have the steamiest make-out session of your life. Years of etiquette lessons went out the window thanks to Cameron Wilder, who managed to unleash my hidden bad girl with naught but his talented mouth and deliciously rough hands.

Afterwards, he went back to his small-town life, and I marched home to inform my dad there would be no business-centric nuptials. As punishment, he shipped me off to Sisters, Oregon and demanded I turn a healthy profit on a not-so-healthy property.

You see where I’m going with this—the buttoned-up city girl stuck in a small town hires a local builder to help her … and he’s the hot stranger from the elevator. Turns out, I have a weakness for the broad-shouldered nice guy who’s not so nice behind closed doors. Keeping things professional gets harder the longer I’m in town, until the only lesson I have left to learn is how to keep both our hearts from getting broken.
