Time and space had done nothing to change his feelings for MaeBe.
The Dom Who Came In From The Cold by Lexi Blake is now live!
Kyle Hawthorne will do anything to protect MaeBe in this exciting new novel from New York Times bestselling author Lexi Blake.
Kyle Hawthorne once believed his future would be a job in the private sector—a simple, normal life. Fate had other plans and he wound up in the military. Some newly discovered talents caught the eye of the CIA, and in no time he was working with a covert team. He found himself in a relationship with fellow operative, Julia—until she turned out to be the enemy. When her betrayal was uncovered, things got bloody and Kyle returned home broken, searching for a chance to walk the road not taken.
MaeBe Vaughan has never been interested in normal. Her happy place is a dark corner of the Internet, where she disrupts all the bad guys. She has a great circle of friends and a full life. She doesn’t need a man. Until Kyle Hawthorne walked into her life. He’s all wrong for her. Surly. Damaged. His uncle is her boss. But she couldn’t help getting close to him. When his past threatened her safety, Kyle walked out without saying good-bye.
Kyle will do anything to keep MaeBe safe. He faked his death, hid in the middle of nowhere, and watched over her from afar. But when Julia resurfaces, he knows that to protect MaeBe, he’ll have to get close. So close that if they manage to survive, he will never let her go.
I can't lie, I've been excited for Kyle and Maybe's story...and I wasn't disappointed.
This one had everything a reader of this series (or author) could want and has come to expect.
Some time in a club? Check.
An interesting secondary plot that was full of interesting characters? Check.
A great romance? Check.
Some hilarious Ian and Taggart family moments? Check.
I had a great time reading this one. I loved them together and apart. I loved the character growth through the story that made it both interesting and compelling watching them get together.
It's also hard to review this one without spoilers, so I'm going to say that I had a lot of fun reading it, and your will too. But, if you haven't read the other books in the series, while you will still enjoy it, some of the inside jokes about the characters will not have their full meaning. So I recommend reading all of them in this series.
I enjoyed and recommend this title.

A clean-cut suit and a rebellious bartender act on their unlikely chemistry in this frisky Real Love novel.
Davis Price has had his eye on Grace Buchanan for a while now. Unlike the bubbly blondes he usually dates, the feisty, flame-haired bartender both intrigues and bewilders him. Something about her—the tattoos? the nose ring?—makes every part of him sit up and beg. There’s only one problem: She hates him. Trading insults and one-liners has become their M.O., but when Grace bets him that he can’t get a date with a non-blonde if his life depends on it, he’s determined to prove her wrong by landing the ultimate non-blonde: her.
Grace is used to regulars hitting on her at the bar. She’s turned them all down, except for one: Davis Price. She likes giving him a hard time, and he is kind of cute in his suit and tie—if you’re into that kind of thing. But after her bet with Davis backfires, their first date lands them in the sack. So does the second. And the third. They’ve convinced themselves that scintillating sex is enough, until want turns into need. Now they’re faced with a choice: end their physical relationship, or double-down on forever…

You can't rise from the ashes if you've never been burned.
When notorious mafia boss Danny Black and lethal assassin James Kelly join forces to hunt down a mutual, elusive nemesis that threatens to destroy them both and take control of their city, they know they will be entering a deadly game. A game they must win if they are ever going to live in peace with the women they love away from crime, corruption, and death.
But peace is an illusion, love is a daily torment, and death will always follow them.
As power starts to slip from their grasp, enemies re-emerge, and old, personal demons return to haunt them both, they finally accept they can never leave their world if they want to stay alive. So they need to protect it at all costs. No matter the consequences. No matter the losses. No matter the pain. They must make choices no men should make. Kill more ruthlessly, love more fiercely, and hate with more rage than ever before.
They're capable. Ready.
But nothing prepares them for the secrets they uncover and the betrayals they face. Or the personal sacrifices they must make to rise again.
Two men. One goal. No mercy.
This is The Rising.
I have no idea how to review this one without spoilers. Absolutely no idea.
So I'm going to tell you the things you need to know to read it.
It's absolutely, definitely not a standalone. If you are starting here, turn back and go to book one, you'll have no idea what's happening otherwise.
If you've read the other books, this is an excellent continuation of the story that grabs you from page one.
If dark romance, assassins and the mafia bother you, this isn't your book. Although you'd have given up by now... so if you're still reading you are as fascinated by these men and women as you were in the first books.
I loved the wild ride of this one and I can't wait for the next in the series.
I enjoyed and recommend this title.

How can I let him destroy everything he’s worked for just to make me happy?
I’m a singer with stage fright who’s famous for…well…nothing yet. And I promised my family if I didn’t make it big by the end of this year, I’d go back to med school.
My agent thinks Colton and I would be a great team both in the studio, and outside of it—especially if label executives think we’re dating.
The rules? We can kiss in public, but not in private.
We can act like we’re doing the deed, as long as we’re not.
And as far as having actual feelings for each other goes…that’s obviously out of the question.
But after so many late nights in the studio and a bunch of stolen kisses, I start to see beyond his party boy facade to something real underneath. And he believes in me–with his coaching and encouragement, I’m finally overcoming my anxiety and giving the best performances of my life.
If only time wasn’t running out so fast.
Then Colton has an idea to keep us together. It’s terrible, but it’s the only way.
How can I let him destroy everything he’s worked for just to make me happy?
An all-new meet-cute sports romance from New York Times and Wall Street Journal bestselling author Kristen Proby, featuring Sophie Montgomery!
The Score by Kristen Proby is now live!
I have millions of followers on social media, and it has absolutely nothing to do with my last name. It's because I'm good at what I do. I work hard, and it has paid off. I'm not a trainer who only talks the talk, either. I walk the walk—or rather, I run the run. It was actually during one of those jogs through the park that I ran into him.
Of course, at the time, I didn't realize it was the Isaiah "Ike" Harrison, Seattle's hot new quarterback. All I knew was that I was suddenly pinned under some solid, sexy body, unable to breathe.
But even now, I keep running into Ike in the most unexpected places. And he's doing everything in his power to convince me that he's not just a player—in any form of the word. It's so much more than that. But I've been there, done that. I have the mended broken heart to prove it and have no intention of doing it again. Except the frustrating man is convincing, and my walls are quickly lowering—especially when I feel responsible for possibly upending his career.
Is letting him in a mistake? Or will it be the best thing I've ever done?
