RUNAWAY GIRL BY TESSA BAILEY-RELEASE BLITZ

Blurb

It’s Naomi Clemons’s big day. Her dream wedding. And she’s outta here.

One moment. A chance meeting of gazes through the church window pane with someone familiar who radiates intrigue. Independence. It’s the final push Naomi needs to realize...she’s boring. A blonde, cookie cutter, well mannered trophy wife-to-be. How can she expect to lead a fulfilling married life when she’s never lived?

Special Forces diver Jason Bristow needs a beauty pageant coach. Not for himself—although the tattooed bruiser could definitely use some charm. For his little sister who he has returned to St. Augustine, Florida to raise. When a beautiful southern debutante lands on his doorstep, she awakens a hunger that won’t be ignored. If only she wasn’t planning on winning back the ex-fiancĂ© she left at the altar…

Despite the potential for ruin, heat continues to build between Naomi and Jason beneath the sultry Florida sunshine, consuming them both. But they’re on borrowed time…and it’s about to run out.

Holy hot! I loved this blurb and was really excited to dive into this book. I was instantly grabbed by the story and characters. This book is full of heat and heart and I absolutely loved it.

Naomi is a character that moves in a totally different orbit from the world I'm used to so I loved getting to know her. Seeing what made her tick, watching her grow. She absolutely blossomed in this book-on her own terms. It was gratifying to see that happen, and to watch her figure out how to handle her feelings for Jason.

Jason. Whoa, holy swoon. I did NOT expect to fall for this man as quickly as I did but I just loved him. He's rough around the edges but oh so sexy and sweet. There's no way I couldn't fall for him. He's dealing with struggles of his own an has to figure out some things about himself and I was cheering for him the whole way.

There is an insane amount of chemistry between these two, right from their first meeting. It crackles on the page. Their sexy times are hot for sure and their time spent outside the bedroom was just as interesting to me. These two just fit.

I loved the concept of this book. I loved learning bits about a world I know absolutely nothing about (ok, I'm not going to lie. I'm a closet former Toddlers and Tiara fan so I knew a little bit about this) I adored Birdie as well. I'm sure you will, too.

This book was hot and sexy while also having some sweet in it. It's not my first Tessa Bailey title and it won't be my last. I loved this book and would absolutely recommend it.

Wow. Jason and Naomi have chemistry. It's exactly what you have come to expect from Tessa Bailey. (If this is your first title of hers, let me tell you they all this hot.)

I loved Naomi. Her prim upbringing, her sense of what's right, what's wrong, and most importantly, of what's proper made her the perfect heroine for this story. And watching her come out of that shell, to stop being beige (sometimes literally) and boring was fun. If anyone would motivate you to leave your comfort zone, it would be someone like Jason, a tough, rough man who has lived life in some of the worst places in the world.

The chemistry between the characters is the most important thing, even more so in a book that leads more toward erotic than strictly romance. In this, while it's hot, and steamy, and scorching...it also has a heart. You fall for Jason, and that makes th ku s even hotter.

I enjoyed this title and I recommend it.

Author Bio

Tessa Bailey is originally from Carlsbad, California. The day after high school graduation, she packed her yearbook, ripped jeans and laptop, driving cross-country to New York City in under four days.

Her most valuable life experiences were learned thereafter while waitressing at K-Dees, a Manhattan pub owned by her uncle. Inside those four walls, she met her husband, best friend and discovered the magic of classic rock, managing to put herself through Kingsborough Community College and the English program at Pace University at the same time. Several stunted attempts to enter the work force as a journalist followed, but romance writing continued to demand her attention.

She now lives in Long Island, New York with her husband of ten years and six-year-old daughter. Although she is severely sleep-deprived, she is incredibly happy to be living her dream of writing about people falling in love.

PROFESSOR FEELGOOD BY LEISA RAYVEN-BLOG TOUR

What's a girl to do when a man who's countless shades of wrong feels oh-so-right?

Ambitious book editor Asha Tate is a hopeless romantic. Despite her mediocre track record with men, she believes in swooning, sighing, and the everlasting love of true soul mates. Sure, sex is okay, but she’s not someone who’s ever been driven by her animal urges.

Until now.

When Asha stumbles upon the scorching hot Instagram feed of someone calling himself Professor Feelgood, she falls in lust for the first time. Not only is she left panting over the professor’s insane body, but his angst-filled poetry about losing his one true love speaks straight to her soul.

Desperately in need of a bestseller for her struggling publishing company, Asha knows the professor’s potential to sell to his millions of loyal followers could be the lifeline her bosses need. However, the ink is barely dry on a book deal before she realizes she’s made a terrible mistake. Sure, the professor is incredibly talented and sexier than any man has a right to be, but the man behind the persona isn’t at all who she pictured. In real life, he’s intense, arrogant and infuriating, and his uncanny ability to rub her the wrong way turns her dream project into a total nightmare.

Knowing that the professor is everything she doesn’t want in a man should help Asha ignore her occasional urges to mount him, but she quickly learns that explosive, unwanted chemistry can make even smart people do stupid things.

Don't miss this sexy new standalone from the international bestselling author of Bad Romeo and Broken Juliet.

I finished this book with tears running down my cheeks. 60% because of the ending, and how happy I was with the way this ended up for these characters, and 40% because, I think, I was just NOT ready to let these characters go.

Asha is trying for a promotion at work and sees the next "big thing" in the Instagram feed of Professor Feelgood and his posts about life, the love he lost, and the lessons he learned from it. You connect with both of them, with her ambition to break out and really show people what she can do and with his desire to look at the past with regret and look at the things he wishes he did differently, while trying to find a way to move forward.

But, as life often does, the worlds collide and getting what you want, and learning how to put the past behind you, conflicts. This, I think, to me was the part of the book that really spoke to me, and that had me in tears. We reflect on our pasts, the things that changed us and shaped us. I think we all have regrets, some bigger than others, things that we wish had ended up differently, things we wish we'd said, things we regret doing.

So, what happens when that past is with us in the present and we are given the chance to right a wrong, to change a perception and to get another chance. Do we take it; or are we afraid that, if it doesn't work out, we will lose the chance to look back on that mistake and say "what if...."

I know this doesn't make a lot of sense to you, if you are reading this without reading the book. You see, there is not really a way to review this without spoilers. But, I didn't want to leave a review that said just that, and nothing else. I wanted to say something about it, to tell people why they need to read this book, and why Leisa Rayven is one of my favorite authors...without ruining it for others.

So, this review is about why it made ME cry, and why I connected with the characters, and why I would be ok if Ms. Rayven wrote another book (or 10) about them. And, it's me telling you to read it.

I loved and recommend this title.

Leisa Rayven is so talented and has such a way with words that I don't care how long she takes to write a book so long as she keeps writing them. This book drew me in from the start and I just didn't want it to end. While technically the second in the series it can absolutely be read and enjoyed as a standalone.

This is a book that's really difficult to review without spoiling. I would certainly never want to spoil a book, I want a reader to dive into this book. I can tell you it's unique, it's incredibly well written. There were moments that had me smiling and moments that I cried. I mean CRIED.

These aren't perfect characters. They bring those imperfections to the table and force you to look in the mirror and see how you relate. I loved these two and I love their journey.

The story itself was unique, as I said. It's well written and just flows. I didn't want to stop reading. I felt completely immersed in this world, and it's one I know I'll go back and revisit. I don't often highlight in books...but I definitely highlighted portions of this book. This is the type of book that will stick with you-and that is why I love this Author.

I truly enjoyed this book and absolutely recommend it.

KEEPING HIM BY KENNEDY FOX-BLOG TOUR

Jackson Bishop is your typical playboy.

Unpredictable, charming, and overly confident.

Growing up in Texas, the ranch life is all he’s ever known. Horses and late night partying are his lifestyles, and all the local girls know it too. Riding lessons aren’t the only things taught at the stables, and he makes sure clients never leave unsatisfied. Everyone knows Jackson’s a wild card, but not everything is as it seems. He may be a womanizer on the surface, but he’s hiding deep feelings about the one who’s had his heart since he was a teen. Unfortunately, it’s not as simple as roping her in and claiming her as his.

Kiera Young is well-known for her sassy nature and outgoing personality. Though she’s one of the best horse trainers in the area, she’s never been able to tame her best friend and the man she’s secretly loved since she was fifteen—Jackson Bishop. She’s waited years for him to confess his true feelings but as time goes on, she decides she’s done waiting. Kiera finally meets a man who promises to give her the world, and when he pops the question, she says yes—knowing they’re both ready to settle down and start a family.

Even if her heart beats for another man.

Jackson’s certain he’s lost Kiera for good and has no one to blame but himself. However, on the day of her wedding, he can’t bring himself to watch the woman he loves walk down the aisle to someone else. Kiera’s already having second thoughts and knows she can’t get married without his support. It’s not until she’s at the altar that she realizes she can’t let Jackson go and will do whatever it takes to keep him—even if it means running out on her own wedding.

ADD TO GOODREADS

I've been a fan of this series from the beginning and I have eagerly anticipated this story. I love, love, love friends to lovers books and I enjoy the writing style of these authors. As soon as this book hit my kindle I was ready to dive in. Overall, I enjoyed this story.

I believed wholeheartedly in Jackson and Kiera's friendship. I enjoyed getting to see how they grew up together, what made them into the people they are now. I felt like I was on a rollercoaster with them at times but it was a good ride.

Things didn't always go smoothly for these two. There were moments I was so frustrated with both of them that I wanted to reach through my kindle and shake them. But Jackson won me over. So completely. I didn't see his full swoonworthy potential in the other books, to be honest, but he blew me away in this one.

I enjoyed seeing the other characters from this series here and I'll be sad to say goodbye to them (until I re-read them LOL). I think the plot moved along well, and while there were many flashbacks I think it worked overall. I enjoyed this title and look forward to what these authors will come up with next.

Jackson and Kiera dance around one another in the first 3 books, so by time you get to this one (if you have read the others) you have a pretty good idea as to the scenario and the reasons Jackson is not at all happy that she is engaged to someone else.

The authors use flashbacks and tell the story of their history. Partly, I think, as a way to keep it from seeming like she jumps from one man to another. And, I see the reason they did this...but at the same time, I thought too much time was spent on the development of the past, and of their younger selves and relationship. And, it didn't really feel like a slow burn, as the characters are attracted to one another the entire time, and the present time events happen quickly enough that Kiera is worried about people finding out about them too soon, as not enough time has passed since she left her former fiancee during the wedding.

I enjoyed this title, overall. And, I do see the reason the authors chose to make this a longer title with the focus on developing the relationship from when they were younger.

The chemistry is there, and I think at least for readers who have read the other stories, it is nice to see things work out for them.

I recommend this title.

GUILTY AS SIN BY MEGHAN MARCH-REVIEW BLITZ

Guilty until proven innocent.
That’s the way the world works, right?
I’m tired of being convicted without evidence, all because my last name is Gable.
The Riscoffs might own this town, but I’m done following their rules.
If only I could forget just how easily Lincoln Riscoff can drag me under his spell.

AVAILABLE NOW

After that cliffhanger, you want to know what happens next... RIGHT NOW. But, you get to wait for just a bit to find out what happens now for Lincoln and Whitney.

This is the middle book in the trilogy, so writing this review is a little like one of those old maps with dragons on the edges...it's not safe to say much of anything about this book.

What I can say is I enjoyed it. I liked the story, and the way it developed. I liked the characters (even the ones I don't like are fascinating) and I didn't see the ending coming. At all.

This is not a standalone, so make sure you've read the first before you dive into this one.

I enjoyed and recommend this title.

From New York Times bestselling author Meghan March comes a brand new saga of forbidden love and second chances. A Riscoff and a Gable can never live happily ever after. Our family feud is the stuff of legends. Ten years ago, Whitney Gable caught me off guard with her long legs and grab-you-by-the-balls blue eyes. I didn’t know or care what her name was. Like any Riscoff worth the family name, I went after what I wanted. We burned like a flash fire until she married another man. She hates me, and she should. I objected on her wedding day. Now she’s home, with those same long legs and man-eater stare, but there’s no ring on her finger. They say a Riscoff and a Gable can never live happily ever after . . . but I’m not done with Whitney Gable. I’ll never be done with her.

Whitney Gable is the kind of woman you fight to the death to protect.
To keep.
To cherish.
I’ve finally learned my lesson, and it’s time to prove I’m the man who’s worthy of her.
I don’t care what it takes, because failure is not an option.
No matter who or what stands in our way—this time, she’ll be mine forever

A New York Times, #1 Wall Street Journal, and USA Today bestselling author of over twenty novels, Meghan March has been known to wear camo face paint and tromp around in woods wearing mud-covered boots, all while sporting a perfect manicure. She’s also impulsive, easily entertained, and absolutely unapologetic about the fact that she loves to read and write smut. Her past lives include slinging auto parts, selling lingerie, making custom jewelry, and practicing corporate law. Writing books about dirty talking alpha males and the strong, sassy women who bring them to their knees is by far the most fabulous job she’s ever had.
