LIVING OUT LOUD BY STACI HART-COVER REVEAL

Living Out Loud, an all-new emotional standalone from Staci Hart is coming February 1st!

Title: Living Out Loud
Author: Staci Hart
Publishing Date: February 1st
Cover Designer: QuirkyBird Designs
Photographer: Lauren Watson Perry, Perrywinkle Photography

When Annie Daschel arrives in New York City, the only thing she can control is her list.

Not her father’s death or the loss of her home. Not the hole in her heart or the defective valve that’s dictated so much of her life. But she can put pen to paper to make a list of all the ways she can live out loud, just like her dad would have wanted.

See the city from the top of the Empire State Building: Check.

Eat hot dogs on the steps of The Met: Check.

Stand in the middle of Times Square: Check.

Get a job at Wasted Words: Check.

Two things not on her list: Greg Brandon and Will Bailey. And just like that, she finds herself caught in the middle of something she can’t find her way out of, with no clear answers and no rules.

List or no list, she realizes she can’t control anything at all, not even her heart.

Not the decisions it makes, and not the moment it stops.

Inspired by Jane Austen's Sense and Sensibility.

About the Author

Staci has been a lot of things up to this point in her life -- a graphic designer, an entrepreneur, a seamstress, a clothing and handbag designer, a waitress. Can't forget that. She's also been a mom, with three little girls who are sure to grow up to break a number of hearts. She's been a wife, though she's certainly not the cleanest, or the best cook. She's also super, duper fun at a party, especially if she's been drinking whiskey. From roots in Houston to a seven year stint in Southern California, Staci and her family ended up settling somewhere in between and equally north, in Denver. They are new enough that snow is still magical. When she's not writing, she's reading, sleeping, gaming, or designing graphics.

DOWN ON ME BY J. KENNER-RELEASE BLITZ

Down On Me, the first standalone in the Man of the Month Series by #1 New York Times bestselling author J. Kenner is LIVE!

Title: Down On Me
Author: J. Kenner
Genre: Contemporary Romance
Publishing Date: January 16th

Tight muscles. Vibrant Ink.

Meet Mr. January. Winter’s never looked so hot …

Certified bachelor Reece Walker wants two things—to save the local bar he manages and to get Jenna Montgomery into his bed.

He has a few ideas for the bar. But Jenna . . . well, he’s going to have to rely on cold showers, because she’s been his best friend for years, and that’s a line he just can’t cross.

Until one wild kiss on a dark night changes everything. Now Reece is certain Jenna’s meant to be his.

And with long nights in bed, sensual caresses, and deep, lingering kisses, he sets out to thoroughly convince her that friends can be lovers, too.

**Down On Me is the first in a binge read series by New York Times, USA Today, Wall Street Journal, Publishers Weekly, and #1 International bestselling author of the million copy Stark series, J. Kenner.

Each book in the series is a STANDALONE novel with NO cliffhanger and a guaranteed HEAT!

But even so, you won’t want to miss any in the series. Because then you can answer the question…

Who’s Your Man of the Month?

I was so excited by the idea of this series and couldn't wait to start this first book. I love the friends to lovers trope, I love J. Kenner's writing so when this hit my kindle I settled in to enjoy the ride-and I definitely enjoyed.

Reece and Jenna have been friends for years. They know each other inside and out so neither one wants to jeopardize their lifelong friendship even though they both have feelings for each other simmering beneath the surface. Personally, I love this kind of dynamic. Watching a couple who has known each other in one way learn about each other in a romantic sense? Bring on the swoon.

I thought the chemistry between these two was believable. I liked how they came together. There was plenty of steaminess, which I've come to expect (and love) from this author.

The writing in this book was strong and quick. I loved the supporting characters and am looking forward to how the rest of this series plays out. This was a quick, fun, sexy read for me and I recommend it.

Reece and Jenna are friends, the kind of best friends who know all there is to know about one another, the friends you call when you are stranded on the side of the road at 3am.

But, what they don't know is that they are each in love with the other, and want more than just the friendship, as great as it is.

Then, the issues with The Fix draw them together in a way that is different than before, and all of a sudden the attraction becomes more than they are willing to ignore any longer.

Sometimes the friends to lovers trope works really well and other times it is less smooth. In this one, the transition seemed a little forced and I was not totally on board with the start of their relationship.

Once the plot got moving, I was a little more on-board, but I then was a little torn about how I felt about the ending. I like them together, and I believe they are together for the long term...but the way they got there was more plot driven than emotion. For a bit, I thought the author was going to take a slightly unconventional path with the resolution of their story, but that didn't end up happening.

The idea of the calendar, the 12 men and 12 events to benefit the bar they all want to keep open is an interesting tie for the characters and the stories in the series, and I think it will work well. For the opener of the story, I thought the pacing was strong and the introduction of the secondary characters was well done.

I liked this book overall, and I am looking forward to the rest of the titles in the series.

ENTICING DAPHNE BY JESSICA PRINCE - BLOG TOUR

It’s easy to stop believing in happily ever afters when the man you thought you’d spend the rest of your life with abandons you right before your wedding day. After that disastrous event I decided that commitment was for suckers. I was young, successful, and in the prime of my life.

I didn’t need a man to make me happy.

Then an unexpected blast from the past came waltzing into my studio and decided I was a challenge he was more than willing to accept. The only problem is that he doesn’t remember he’s met me before.

He’s the ultimate playboy, determined to stop at nothing until he entices the hell out of me. But if Caleb McMannus thinks he can lure me in with his sinful looks and silver tongue, then he’s…probably right.

I enjoyed Daphne and Caleb's story. But, I didn't love it. And, I am not sure why. But, for me, they were almost too damaged from the things that happened in their past for me to totally believe that there was anything that would draw them together, as the idea that they were pulled to one another due to their tragic pasts always seemed a little off to me.

That said, I liked the characters and I did believe the story at the end, which is what really matters.

This is the second title I have read by this author and they are funny, light reads with enjoyable characters and mostly realistic situations that they found themselves in.

Overall, I enjoyed and recommend this title.

Google was quickly becoming the bane of my existence.

What had started as curiosity about Caleb McMannus had blossomed into a full-blown obsession. Once you Googled, there was no going back. I was disgusted with myself.

Not only because it seemed I’d banged a guy whose dick had already been in half the female population of the United States, but also because I couldn’t stop thinking about the stupid man-whore. It was a sickness. A gross, disappointing sickness that I’d spent weeks trying to cure myself of to no avail.

Each gossip column of his sexcapades, each picture of him in a compromising position—and there were many, all of them with a different woman—was cringe-worthy. But I couldn’t stop myself from searching them out.

What was worse, I couldn’t stop thinking about our night together. It had been the most intense, toe-curling experience of my life. And even though I pretty much hated him for forgetting about me, I wanted it again.

Damn my needy, traitorous vagina!

About the Author:

Born and raised around Houston Texas, Jessica spent most of her life complaining about the heat, humidity, and all around pain in the ass weather. It was only as an adult that she quickly realized the cost of living in Houston made up for not being able to breathe when she stepped outside. That's why God created central air, after all.

Jessica is the mother of a perfect little boy--she refuses to accept that he inherited her attitude and sarcastic nature no matter what her husband says.

In addition to being a wife and mom, she's also a wino, a coffee addict, and an avid lover of all types of books--romances still being her all time favs. Her husband likes to claim that reading is her obsession but she just says it's a passion...there's a difference. Not that she'd expect a boy to understand.

Jessica has been writing since she was a little girl, but thankfully grew out of drawing her own pictures for her stories before ever publishing her first book. Because an artist she is not.

GETTING HOTTER BY ELLE KENNEDY-COVER REVEAL

A sexy standalone novel from New York Times and international bestselling author Elle Kennedy!

A good bad boy is hard to find…

Seth Masterson has been lusting over Miranda Breslin since the moment he saw her on a Vegas stage. Now that he’s been asked to watch out for her as she opens a dance studio in San Diego, he’s all over it, figuring it’s his chance to get her in his bed. Except the stubborn single mom seems determined to deny their sizzling sexual chemistry. In typical SEAL fashion, Seth makes it his personal mission to prove her wrong.

Miranda got over her attraction to bad boys about the time one of them knocked her up at the age of eighteen. Seth’s mocking gray eyes and military-buff bod, though, are pure and utter temptation. And when a flooded apartment forces her and her twins to move in with him, she can no longer resist the urge to set off some serious fireworks between the sheets.

But any involvement with Seth will be strictly physical—and temporary. So when Seth decides permanent is what he wants, Miranda must steel her defenses before she does something incredibly foolish…like fall in love.

Warning: This book contains a bad boy SEAL who knows what he wants and will go to any lengths to get it. Expect graphic language, hot sex, seduction, hot sex, dirty talk, hot sex, a little man-on-man action. Oh, and hot sex.
