Books with a friends to lovers aspect are usually some of my favorite.  This book took that and added the element of having an older woman fall for her little brother's best friend. I personally haven't found a book like that before and I really appreciated the twist. 

I really liked Ryan.  He had all the elements that make a good book boyfriend to me-he was hot, sweet and funny.  I loved his determination in his pursuit of Whitney; that he wouldn't take less than what he knew they both deserved from each other.  

Whitney was dealt a bit of a tough hand.  My heart really ached for her and what she was going through; it was something I could relate to on a personal level and so I really connected with her.  It was a joy to watch her find her happiness with Ryan-and work through their relationship.  She deserved him completely!

The sex between them was hot but there were plenty of sweet moments here too.  I'm a sucker for sweet and sappy and this book hit the mark there for me.  I'll definitely be looking forward to the rest of this series and recommend this book.

“Please,” I whispered, and leaned into his palm now cupping my cheek. His hands were strong. Long, tanned fingers that had made me think of naughty things like this for months.
