Fifth Avenue Flirt by Louise Bay - ARC Review

He promised she’d fall in love with him in a week.
She plans to prove him wrong.

Avril Huntingdon needs one thing from Manhattan fixer Ben East: help securing the Boston hotel deal that could finally prove she’s more than the baby of the family.

What she doesn’t need?
The forced proximity. The impossible chemistry. Or the dangerously charming billionaire who’s slowly becoming impossible to resist

I am a fan of Louise Bay's titles, but there is something about the books in this new series, this one and the first one, that I am really connecting with.

Avril and Ben are really different, and yet oddly both find themselves wanting to figure out how to be themselves but also different. They both find themselves wanting more, but not sure what it is, only that they know they want it.

I think I related to the characters as I think all of us, at some time or another, have wanted to branch out, or to get out of the same thing we have been doing to see what else is out there, and the idea of finding the person who lets you stretch and grow, but still wants to be with you, well, that is literally a story a romance novel is made to tell.

The plot of this is a romance, you know it's going to have a happily ever after. But, that wasn't what really drew me to this one. Not that the plot is bad, not at all, but this one really was about the characters and the stories they have to tell.
