I enjoyed a lot about this story, but there were parts of Lila and Corbin's story that didn't totally connect with me. Nothing enough to ruin the story, more that it felt there were times where it was a little too much tell and not enough show, so it felt that I was a little more distant from the characters than I wanted to be.

There were places in the story where I was really engaged and this definitely kept me reading and moving from scene to scene. I did like the characters and I believed their relationship and that they acted like people would in similar situations.

This is my first title by this author, and it's always great to find a new series and author that you are interested in reading the next title in the series.
