I enjoy marriage of convenience stories, and I really liked the reason they had for being together.

I really related to finding the place in the world where you feel like you belong and being willing to do what it takes in order to stay there, and this was true for both Jared and Allegra, so getting married so he could use her money to keep the farm, and she could remain in Scotland, made sense as they both were trying to find a way to stay where they belonged.

The chemistry is real from the initial kiss at their courthouse wedding, but it takes both of them a while to get past the reasons they have to believe their relationship isn't real.

There is the element of a stalker to this book, as there often are in this author's titles, but for some reason, even though I am expecting it to happen, it always seems to work and feel fresh and believable.

The connection between Jared and Allegra is intense and I definitely both believed it and was really looking forward to them becoming a full fledged couple.

I enjoyed and recommend this title.
