My absolute favorite word when it comes to a book by Corinne Michaels is "new". So the second I had this one on my Kindle, I was ready to drop everything and read it.
And dropping everything to read it was worth it.
Rowan and Charlotte were wonderful. I loved how much they hated one another, but at the same time didn't. I liked the reason and the way that was resolved also felt real, and felt how you would react when you cared about one person and didn't really about the other and then how you would react when that changes. (Anything more on this would be too much of a spoiler.)
This one just worked. I loved the way the relationship evolved between them, how it served to catch both of them by surprise...and then how it surprised each of them that the other was in the sand place as they were. It felt authentic.
This book drew me in, I couldn't put it down, and I read it in one day.
I enjoyed and recommend this title.
