NEED YOU NOW BY J. KENNER-RELEASE BLITZ

Need You Now, the newest standalone in the Man of the Month Series by #1 New York Times bestselling author J. Kenner is LIVE!

Charming smile. Wicked skills.

Meet Mr. March.

With his tousled hair, cocky grin, and surprising abs hidden under a conservative button-down, bartender Cameron Reed is no stranger to the attention of women.

He dates, but never gets serious, claiming that he’s too focused on his studies. But it’s not really school that preoccupies him; it’s sensual fantasies of his best friend’s sister.

Mina Silver might be absolutely off-limits because of her overprotective brother and father, but that doesn’t stop Cam from imagining the feel of her in his arms, the brush of his lips over her soft skin, or the sparks that would fly between them if he ever got her into bed.

But for Cam, the bonds of family and friendship are sacrosanct, and there is no way that he’d ever violate his friend’s trust. Or would he?

Because with love on the line, maybe it’s time for Cam to break a few rules.

Taking a risk never felt so right.

**Hold On Tight is part of a binge read series by New York Times, USA Today, Wall Street Journal, Publishers Weekly, and #1 International bestselling author of the million copy Stark series, J. Kenner.

I'm such a sucker for the best friend's sister trope. In fact, it's in my top three tropes so I was excited to see J. Kenner's take on it for this installment of the Man of the Month books. I wasn't disappointed.

This book caught me by surprise. After meeting Cam in the other books I didn't expect him to be who he was in this book. Please note, this is not a complaint at all! I thoroughly enjoyed who he was here. I just wasn't expecting it. He was a fabulous book boyfriend-hot and sexy. Once he decided to finally make his move? Mina better watch out.

I had a harder time connecting at first with Mina. There were some moments that had me groaning in frustration but they passed. I did wind up liking her and understanding her internal struggle, it just took me a minute to get there.

I liked these two together. Again, I love the best friend's sister trope and I thought it was well done here. This was a sassy and flirty book overall, as all of the books in the series have been.  I enjoyed this quick read and I'm looking forward to the next book.

All of the man of the month books, so far, have been a lot of fun. They are light and flirty, shorter novels that all center on The Fix on 6th in Austin and the different ways, and things, they each bring to the table to try to save the bar from closing.

Cam and Mina are friends, and she is his best friend's sister. I love this trope. It's fun, and it adds what I think is a genuine tension to the relationship, the concern about the reaction or a 3rd party both care about. Especially when the tension is handled well, and it was in this case.

I liked Mina, I liked that she was torn between staying in the familiar and branching out on her own, and how she handled this, for the most part. I think we have all been here, at some point, having to make a hard decision and balance what you want and what others want as well.

Overall, I enjoyed the title and I look forward to the next one.
