First, I really love a book that starts off right when the cliffhanger ended. I like cliffhangers, and I hate them. And, even knowing there is another one headed in my direction at the end of the middle book in a trilogy, I like at least getting the 1st mystery out of the way.
The first book, Blacklist, was at least for me all about the foundation of Sterling and Adair, their story and getting to know them and their world. This book focuses more on them. Part of me wanted more of that from the first book in the series, but I can say after reading this one that the foundation readers have from book one allows them to really grasp this one.
And, anything else would be a spoiler.
So, read this one, but only after you have read Blacklist.
I enjoyed and recommend this title and I can't wait for the conclusion of the trilogy!
