Con men and princesses are generally not a match made in heaven...unless of course you are in a romance book. And, luckily for Jane and Charlie, this is exactly where we meet them.

Royal romance is a trend right now, but in order for it to be enjoyable, it has to be done well. And, this one was. You believe in the connection, you believe that there is a romance there, and that even though Charlie is not being totally honest, enough of the truth of who he is, and how he feels, is coming through that Jane is falling in love with who he really is.

And, that is the most important element (aside from the romance, of course) in a romance when one of the characters is lying. You have to believe there is enough of a connection to the real person under the lie that by the time the lie is revealed, the romance is there and it is real. I believed it in this one. Jane and Charlie were getting to know the real people behind the expectations. Both, in a way had a "public" face that they were expected to be, and a private one that they shared with one another.

I enjoyed this title and I recommend this book.
