Of course, you don’t have to be an advice columnist to know a bad boy and a good girl are never going to work out. Someone’s going to get their heart broken.
And my guess? It isn’t going to be him.
I enjoy books where one of the characters grows and learns that maybe, just maybe, the way they have seen the world isn't exactly the way things really are, or how they should be.
Tyler and Emma meet in a bar. And, they have hot, quick, dirty sex in the bar's bathroom...and they never see each other again.
Wait, nope. That's not what happens. In fact, Tyler is the publisher of her new dating advice book. You know, the book that says, among other things, not to have sex in bar bathrooms on the night you meet each other for the first time. But...details.
Her book says a lot of other things about why her any Tyler just won't work. The problem? her heart says otherwise.
I enjoyed this book, and the idea that Emma is living the exact like she says not to in her book. But, she believed her book when she wrote it, so the change from the person who believes what she wrote to the person who takes it back to live life with the person she loves.
I enjoyed this book, the characters, and their journey.
