Slow burn romance is fantastic. Especially when you know that both of them are resisting one another with all they have.
Sydney and Archer have known one another for years, she was a friend, she was at his wedding, and she has been part of every single big event of his life. The only people who don't know how they feel about one another is both of them. Heck, even his ex wife knows what is going on.
The focus of this story is getting to know the characters while they figure out how they really feel about one another. And, it's a lot of fun. They are so perfect for one another, but they refuse to see what everyone else does, that their relationship has been going on for the past 14 years.
I enjoyed their chemistry, their relationship, the secondary characters, and watching their relationship evolve. I enjoyed this title, and it can be read as a standalone.
