This is my first audio (I know I'm late to the party, but I'm now working my way through the back catalog!) from this author. This story had me smiling, swooning and definitely had some moments that took my breath away. Add in fabulous narrators and I was sucked in from the start. As I mentioned, this is my first audio in this series. I was SO not prepared to hear all the swoon worthy, "darlins" but man were they great. Aaron Shedlock definitely moved up on my narrator list after listening to this!! Stella Hunter was PERFECTION as Hazel. She nailed her personality perfectly. This story had a couple unexpected twists that caught me right in the feels. But I loved every moment of the journey. I felt like I was part of the family and I can't wait for the next Ryker family story. This book is definitely one I will come back and relisten to again and again. I highly recommend it!
