Contempt of Court by Whitney G. - ARC Review

It's not my fault I lied to him.
I had to.

Alas, Jameson Tate might be the biggest walking hypocrite on the planet because his deeply harbored secrets make mine look like child's play.

Still, I started to trust him.

To believe in him.

But as more things begin to unravel, I regret ever meeting him...

The second installment in The Verdict Trilogy from New York Times & USA Today bestselling author Whitney G.

Jameson and Scarlet's story advanced in a lot of ways in this one, and I enjoyed all of the twists and turns of this one, but it's impossible to get into any of it without spoilers, which is always the case with the middle book in any trilogy.

I enjoyed it, I read this one quickly as I was engaged. And, as I knew this one was going to have a cliffhanger, I was prepared for it. And, for whatever reason, the cliffhanger on this one totally surprised me. Maybe it shouldn't have, but it did. I am definitely looking forward to the next one in this series.
