I love a good paranormal story. Well, witches, I love books with witches. And a good curse thrown in always makes it fun.

Xander and Lorelei have a history that they can't get past, even though it's clear to everyone that they are still in love with one another.

When we finally find out what happened, it's heartbreaking. I'm not going to spoil it here, but it makes them and how they relate to one another incredibly clear.

I think this is my favorite of the series. But I do love a good second chance romance and this is one of the best second chance romances I've read. And it has witches.

The characters are compelling and you care about them. I love books where the man is all in and the woman has to catch up, so that added another fantastic layer to this story.

I'm sad to see the end of this series, but this was an excellent ending.
