I’ve been looking forward to this weekend since my best friend announced her destination wedding. Sure, I wanted to see my oldest friend marry the love of her life, but I also needed a break from life…from my father.

However, even states away, he still manages to control my fate. I wanted one weekend. Three days without the stresses and obligations that come along with having my last name.

For the first time in my life, I ignore my father’s demands and open my eyes to what I truly want. I’m seeing everything around me in a new light, and that includes the hot bartender at the resort.

That’s how I ended up kissing a stranger.

Decker and Adeline's story is one of the intertwined titles around a destination wedding that never happened and I enjoyed their connection to that event and to the characters who are part of the other stories in the series.

I am enjoying reading the titles about the other people who are part of the wedding and seeing how their stories unfold.

I liked the set up of this one, that he is totally not right for her, and not someone that her family would approve of her being involved with, but that is part of the reason she is initially attracted to him, that he is totally not suitable for her, at least not according to her family.

I think, at least initially, this is a big part of the attraction that she has for him, that he is gorgeous helps, but really it's the idea of making her controlling father angry that really speaks to her and makes Adilene make the decisions she does around Decker.

Of course, it ends up that there is a way around her family that will allow them to be together, although that part of the story is resolved rather quickly and I would have liked to have more time spent on that part of the story and that resolution, as it did feel that it was a little quick in relation to the rest of the events.

You don't need to have read all of the titles in this series in order to be able to connect with the characters, although all of the ones I have read have been a lot of fun and there is no reason you shouldn't read all of them, if you haven't already.

I enjoyed and recommend this title.
