Sexy Filthy Boss by Piper Rayne-Release Blast

He’s the sexy alpha male in the corner office who goes through assistants faster than free donuts in the breakroom.

I’m the assistant who was chosen to cover for his last fire.

The owner of the company is clear—hook the biggest client in our firm’s history and there’s a partnership for him and a promotion for me. Stipulation—we do it together.
It doesn’t take a tarot card-reading psychic to figure out where our story is headed… late nights, trips out of town, and more than a few awkward moments filled with sexual tension.

No worries though. I pride myself on my willpower. I can totally ignore his sexy grin, his rock-hard body and his dreamy brown eyes. I will not become the woman other women hate.

But it turns out that Enzo Mancini has a lot of layers and if I don’t stop peeling, I’m going to lose everything, including my dignity.

The title speaks for itself! Don’t miss this sexy OFFICE ROMANCE romantic comedy coming June 11th!

There were parts of this title that I really enjoyed, and there were parts that I struggled with staying engaged with the story. The parts with Enzo and Annie in the office, and working together was interesting and I was engaged in it...but the other parts, the ones that were world building felt extraneous and long. I get that there are other characters, that they have families and lives outside of the office, but I found the parts that didn't focus on Enzo and Annie to be a little distracting.

I did enjoy the chemistry of the characters, I believed in the relationship and I also believed that they were both authentic people and acted in ways that real people should.

In the parts of the book where Enzo and Annie were together, this was a fabulous title. In the areas that were focused on secondary characters were less compelling...but not enough that I felt I was unable to enjoy the title.

Overall, I enjoyed and recommend this title.

I love a good office romance book-and I enjoy Piper Rayne's writing so when I saw this blurb it was a no brainer for me; I knew I wanted to read it. This book was a quick read for me and I did enjoy it overall.

I really like Annie. I liked her work ethic, I liked her determination. I got where she was coming from in regards to working for Enzo.

I liked watching Enzo transform in this book. He wasn't someone I liked a whole lot initially-but that's kind of the point. And there are reasons for acting how he acts, which I can totally respect. But it was fun watching him fall for Annie.

I enjoyed the chemistry between these two. When the story focused on them, I was fully engaged and invested. I wanted to see how they could resolve their differences and needs and come together. There were moments I wasn't as invested in the story because we were dealing with some secondary characters who will be featured in later books. There were moments they took away a bit from Enzo and Annie but I understood why the Authors were introducing them in this way.

This story has the classic fun and sexiness I expect from Piper Rayne. I look forward to seeing where they go next in this series. I would recommend this title.

“Please. Come on, Mr. Mancini.”

Even I notice how weird that sounds coming from her mouth now that our working relationship has turned into more of a tenuous friendship. “Enzo.”

“If I call you Enzo, can I pay my share?” She bats her eyes a few times.

I twist my lips, thinking about it. The taxi driver huffs, annoyed that we’re holding him up. “Sure.”

“Please, Enzo?” she says, stressing both words.

The sound of her voice saying my name like that spurs images of her naked on my bed, begging me to fuck her. Her back arched, her delectable tits prominently on display with her legs spread. I shift in my seat to hide my growing hard-on.

She drops the forty dollars onto my lap and opens the door, leaving before I come back to myself. I lift the forty off my half chub, concocting a plan to get this back to her without her knowing it.

Her voice rings in my head one more time. Please, Enzo?

I might as well admit defeat. Tonight my dreams will be filled with me, Annie Stewart, and the word please.
