For years, he was a part of my life. I watched him rush to the hospital countless times, his beautiful surgeon hands racing to save lives.
After all this time, I can’t escape the truth.
I want Dr. Lowe.
Lust chokes each moment we’re together. He promises to fulfill my fantasies—every dirty, naughty desire we can dream up.
Only, I can’t have him.
He’s confident. Experienced. Seductive.
And he’s my ex-boyfriend’s father.
When I think of Nikki Sloane's work I think hot and steamy. When I read the blurb for this book I knew she was definitely going to deliver on both of those things. I'm a fan of this Author and enjoyed this taboo tale.
Cassidy is a young woman (19) lusting after her ex-boyfriend's dad. When she realizes he wants her just as much as she wants him? Well, the fun truly begins. The sex here (and there's no shortage of it) is definitely hot, like kindle melting hot. The taboo element just adds a little something to some already spicy sexy times.
I thought this book was written well and it flowed easily. There were moments I definitely chuckled at some issues presented by the age gap, like Cassidy never having seen Dr. Lowe's favorite movies. There were some things I absolutely saw coming, reaction wise from other characters, but it all made sense to me.
This slightly taboo tale was a quick, fun, naughty read. I enjoyed it and look forward to what this author gives us next. I would recommend this title.
There's not a lot of story or character building in this title. But, there is a lot of sex. A lot of it. And, it's hot, scorching, burn up the Kindle hot.
Did I enjoy this one? Well, yeah, I can't lie. I did. But, I went into it knowing that sometimes the taboo stories are those that maybe focus on the taboo without working through a lot of the issues. There is mention of the reaction of his peers, and of his son, but this is a side note to the crazy hot sex.
For what this was, I enjoyed it. The book is well written, the sex is hot and the story moves. I wasn't bored, although I am not able to say I think Cassidy and Greg will be together for the long haul, but I enjoyed this read.
I recommend this title.
Nikki Sloane landed in graphic design after her careers as a waitress, a screenwriter, and a ballroom dance instructor fell through. For eight years she worked for a design firm in that extremely tall, black, and tiered building in Chicago that went through an unfortunate name change during her time there. Now she lives in Kentucky and manages a team of graphic artists. She is married and has two sons, writes dirty books, and couldn't be any happier.
