Home Field Advantage by Liz Lincoln - ARC Review

Is the Dragons’ new wide receiver: A) a fallen NFL star looking for a comeback, B) the sexy player your boss wants you to write an exposé on, or C) the former love of your life?

For Milwaukee Dragons beat reporter Natalie Griffith, he’s clearly D) all of the above. Three years ago, Natalie’s bombshell report on her ex-boyfriend’s off-the-field scandals landed her the job she loves, but she still feels guilty about destroying his career. Now Quinn Lowry’s back, and he’s taking over her locker room, flashing his charming smile and reminding her exactly how hot they were together.

After two years out of the league, Quinn is sober and on the field again. He’s worked his ass off and he’s not going to blow his second chance, not even for the woman who broke his heart—twice. Having Natalie around is the last thing Quinn needs while he’s trying to prove he deserves to stay on the team.

Maybe one final night together will give them both some much-needed closure. But with Natalie’s boss pressuring her for another headline-grabbing scoop, can she admit to herself that she’s falling for Quinn all over again?

This Is Love by Natasha Madison-Cover Reveal

From the best selling series, Something So comes the spin-off series This is...

Vivienne

Never fall in love.
That was my motto, and I was sticking to it.
Having my heart broken once was enough, and I never wanted to do it again.
He was supposed to be a one-night stand, the only thing I do.
One rule shouldn’t be so hard to follow, but then I went back for seconds, then thirds.

After that, I lost count of the number of times I lost myself in his arms.
When I wasn’t paying attention, my guard slipped.

Mark

They call me Private Mark for a reason—my whole life is a secret.
For two years, we danced around each other until I got her right where I wanted her ... under me.
Now that I had her, I wasn't letting her go. I thought we were on the same page.
I thought we were building something great.

Boy, was I ever wrong.

I had no idea that while I was falling in love, she was trying to convince herself we were temporary.
She thought I’d walk away.

She was wrong.

Now it's time to convince her she wants us too and to show her that the crazy, wild thing we have ... This Is Love.

Fix Her Up by Tessa Bailey - ARC Review

A brand new romantic comedy from New York Times bestseller Tessa Bailey!

Georgette Castle’s family runs the best home renovation business in town, but she picked balloons instead of blueprints and they haven’t taken her seriously since.
Frankly, she’s over it. Georgie loves planning children’s birthday parties and making people laugh, just not at her own expense. She’s determined to fix herself up into a Woman of the World... whatever that means.

Phase one: new framework for her business (a website from this decade, perhaps?)

Phase two: a gut-reno on her wardrobe (fyi, leggings are pants.)

Phase three: updates to her exterior (do people still wax?)

Phase four: put herself on the market (and stop crushing on Travis Ford!)

Living her best life means facing the truth: Georgie hasn’t been on a date since, well, ever. Nobody’s asking the town clown out for a night of hot sex, that’s for sure. Maybe if people think she’s having a steamy love affair, they’ll acknowledge she’s not just the “little sister” who paints faces for a living. And who better to help demolish that image than the resident sports star and tabloid favorite?

Travis Ford was major league baseball’s hottest rookie when an injury ended his career.
Now he’s flipping houses to keep busy and trying to forget his glory days. But he can’t even cross the street without someone recapping his greatest hits. Or making a joke about his… bat. And then there's Georgie, his best friend’s sister, who is not a kid anymore. When she proposes a wild scheme—that they pretend to date, to shock her family and help him land a new job—he agrees. What’s the harm? It’s not like it’s real. But the girl Travis used to tease is now a funny, full-of-life woman and there’s nothing fake about how much he wants her...

I have seen a couple of reviews of this title in which they talk about how hot this book is...like it's a bad thing.

WHAT??!!!

Seriously, the writing in a book by Tessa Bailey is always strong.  You like the characters and the story, and they are always the hottest books you have ever read.  And, well, this is why we read them...because, OMG are these fun books.

Georgie and Travis are absolutely as hot as you want them to be, and as fun, and likeable, and generally a lot of fun.

I could talk about the story, but that is no fun, and, well, you can read the book on your own.  So, I am going to mention that, in order for a book to be as hot as this one is, and for it to still work, you have to have a really skilled author...one who can make her characters speak and act in certain ways while still seeming like people.  This book hits all of the marks, and...have I mentioned it's hot?

I enjoyed and recommend this title.
