Saine and Bennett meet and share a night that, unbeknownst to each of them, is incredibly meaningful.

And, 4 years later, the attraction is still there, it is still between them. Although Bennett recognizes her from the night years ago and Saine does not immediately know who he is. I thought this was interesting and added an edge to the attraction, the idea that one of them was keeping their past from the other.

I like Kreig as this is often an element of the story...a little forbidden, or a twist that means things aren't going to be quite as simple as you would have thought at first. And, even though this was short, that was definitely there in the story.

This is part of an anthology, but I did not read the other titles, so this review is just for this title, which I recommend.

K.L. Kreig is a fairly new author to me. This is the second book of hers that I have read.

And, she has done it again. I am blown away. I was floored. From their initial meeting, when they had no idea who they would become to one another, through the family dynamics, the business deal, the attraction that jumps off the page.

This book is tough to review, as I really think that nowing anything about this book is to ruin the ride of this book. The writing is amazing, it draws you in to the characters, to the stories. You are immediately invested and the story grabs you.

The POV switches work well, are balanced, and make you feel that you know both of them equally well.

So, I am going to say that you really want to read this.
