CRAVE BY ADRIANA LOCKE-COVER REVEAL

Who is ready to meet Machlan Gibson?

This STANDALONE novel in the Gibson Boys Series from USA Today Bestseller Adriana Locke will be coming to your Kindle soon. We don't have a firm release date yet, but we're hearing it should be the first of August. (Is it the first of August yet?) What does Adriana have in store for us in Crave? Check this out:

Synopsis:

Hadley Jacobs is over Machlan Gibson. Sure, she’ll always be a little weak to the dimple in his right cheek and the way his five o’clock shadow makes him ruggedly handsome. But that’s not enough to cover every other thing about him because they all drive her nuts. Like how he’s won’t admit he’s wrong even when he knows it and how he drives his stupid car a million miles an hour on wet asphalt. As she rolls back into town and takes a seat at Crave, she won’t take the bait. She’s over him. Mostly. Machlan isn’t over her. It’s not because he hasn’t tried. He reminds himself over and over that she’s not the girl for him. After all, she drives him insane with her sassy attitude and the way she calls him out on everything. She beats him at poker, even though she doesn’t know the difference between a straight and a flush, and when she looks at him with her bright, blue eyes, it’s unnerving. When she climbs onto that bar stool and orders a drink, he puts it in front of her and ignores the sparkle in her eyes. He’s not over her, but she won’t know that. But she does know that. And he knows she’s not as over him as she’s pretending to be. When life forces their hand this time, there’s more on the line than a pile of poker chips. It’s their forever.

While we wait for this release, we can "get to know" Machlan through his Spotify playlist here. AND you know you need to add it to your To Be Read List

There's a great giveaway associated with this cover reveal too! A signed paperback plus two $10 gift cards. Book money, anyone? LOL! $10 Gift Card to Winner's Choice of Store

As a side note, if you haven't met the other Gibson Boys, you really (really!) must. They're small town. Blue collar. And totally, absolutely delicious. Check out Adriana's Amazon Page and look up Crank, Craft, and / or Cross. All can be read as standalone novels and all are available in Kindle Unlimited.

Cross Jacobs was a screw-up.

Everyone knew it, especially him, and the point was hammered home when Kallie Welch drove herself right out of his life.

But, she’s back.

Seeing Cross wasn’t on Kallie’s to-do list. She didn’t think she could avoid him forever but trying never hurt anyone. One minute she’s standing by herself and the next she’s accosted by a rich, velvety scent that could only belong to one man: Cross.

At face value, he’s divine. All rugged and confident with a smile that melts her right where she’s standing. It doesn’t take long to find him to be charming, witty, and the owner of a few legitimate businesses. Not at all like the mischievous boy she left.

He laughs and her heart flutters. With a touch of his hand, she’s dizzy. She’s fairly certain she’s going to die when he pulls her into an embrace and touches his lips to her forehead.

It feels right. It feels so right.

But is it?

CRAFT BY ADRIANA LOCKE-RELEASE BLITZ

Title: Craft
Series: The Gibson Boys #2
Author: Adriana Locke
Genre: Contemporary Romance
Release Date: March 14, 2018

Blurb

They’re not quite enemies. Not really friends. More like frustrated balls of sexual tension and neither will give in.

Lance Gibson drives Mariah Malarkey absolutely crazy. He uses her office like a phone booth, takes cupcakes from the corner of her desk like she baked them just for him. She didn’t. Maybe she knew the history teacher happened to love peanut butter icing, but that was purely a coincidence. All sixteen times.

Mariah has a way of getting under Lance’s skin too. She calls him out on his crap, spoils him even if inadvertently, and seeing the librarian in skirts drives him wild. She won’t give in. It’s for the best, really, considering there’s no way he could lie to a woman like that and he’s not about to tell her the truth about himself. Not in a million years.

These two don’t hate each other. They don’t really like each other. But for this to be a friends-to-lovers story, they have to start somewhere, right?

Note: This can be read as a standalone novel.

I've been anticipating this book since finishing Crank. This is part of a series for this author-but it can absolutely be enjoyed as a standalone. This book had me chuckling, made me misty-eyed and had me falling in love. I enjoyed each step of Lance and Mariah's journey.

I love the way these two came together. I thought it was fun and very well done. Is there more to this story than just a hot history teacher falling for the sexy librarian? Yes, yes there is. Lance and Mariah have something special and I loved seeing them figure each other, and themselves, out.

Mariah had me smiling. She is absolutely the type of person I would hang out with in real life. Smart, kind and a sassy side under it all? I love it! She has some issues she's dealing with and while some had me shaking my head, I applauded how she dealt with them.

Lance. Oh, my Lance. This man is a great book boyfriend. Funny, sweet, and a killer sexy mouth. I liked seeing Lance discover more about himself on this journey. I loved his character growth.

The chemistry between these two snaps and sizzles, even when they don't initially realize it. There's just that something extra between them. This might be one of my favorite first kiss scenes, ever. I loved seeing them figure out what they had in each other, it was a fun and emotional journey all in one.

The supporting characters mostly had me smiling. I love the Gibson family and I adore Mariah's friend, Whitney. There were times I didn't love some other people in Mariah's life but watching her come to terms with them was immensely satisfying.

The writing was great, the pacing really worked. I loved the give and take between Mariah and Lance and adored every moment we got to spend with Nana and the Gibson family. This book had quite a few lines that made me pause and really think about what the author was saying through the character. Those moments really resonated with me personally and I loved it.

As I mentioned, this is book two of the Gibson Boys series but it can absolutely be read as a standalone. I loved this book and would absolutely recommend it.

The librarian and the playboy. The serious and the frivolous. The focused and the scattered. Is this a match or are they 2 people with an attraction that they are not able to work? They flirt, but both know (or do they) that it's just flirting, and baked goods, and that this relationship isn't going anywhere.

Or is it? Are they possibly more compatible than they thought?

I liked the story of the relationship between Lance and Mariah, overall. There were a few moments that I didn't completely believe the actions of the characters and I was not sure I thought that real people would behave this way, but at the same time, it worked for the lighter feel of the story.

There were some more serious moments, and chances for them to each see the other as more than the playboy and the librarian, and there were times where they were allowed to be lighter and happier.

I thought the writing in this book was fairly strong. The dialogue flowed well, and the pacing was good. As I mentioned, there were a couple of things that I didn't totally believe (being too specific is a spoiler) but it didn't stop me from enjoying the title overall.

I recommend this title and I am looking forward to the next Gibson boys novel.

CRANK BY ADRIANA LOCKE-RELEASE BLITZ

Title: Crank
Series: The Gibson Boys #1
Author: Adriana Locke
Genre: Contemporary Romance
Cover Design: Kari March
Release Date: November 10, 2017

Blurb

This is one mistake Sienna Landry can’t buy her way out of.

As Walker Gibson looks at her, then at the damage to his precious truck (that she may or may not have accidentally inflicted), she knows she’s in trouble. It’s not the busted headlight and dented grill that’s sunk her though. It’s the downright sinful man in front of her that’s the problem.

The small town mechanic is broody. Rough. Smells like engine grease and gasoline and Sienna isn’t sure why that’s so sexy, but it is. It so is. She’s ready to peel off her panties at the drop of his wrench.

He wants her too. She can feel it when he brushes against her. Experience it as he presses her against the wall of the shop. It’s thinly veiled in his deep, brown eyes when he looks at her like she’s everything he’s ever wanted. So why won’t he give in?

The damage to Walker’s truck is the first of many mistakes between the two of them, ending with truths that rock Sienna’s world. Nothing can fix her broken heart except the love of a man that won’t, maybe even can’t, love her back.

Crank is a standalone romance in a new small town, blue-collar series from USA Today bestselling author Adriana Locke. Join readers everywhere as they fall in love with the delicious Gibson Boys.

Buy The Book

I'm a fan of Adriana Locke so when I saw she was starting a new series I knew I wanted to check it out. Crank had me laughing, sighing and wanting to shake both our hero and heroine at different moments. It was a fun, sweet read and I loved it.

I'm certainly no stranger to Sienna Landry having read previous books from Ms. Locke-but if you haven't read any of the Landry books (umm, what are you waiting for) don't worry, Crank is absolutely a standalone. I liked Sienna, I got her insecurities, her doubts. She has some pretty strong opinions about what she thinks she wants in a future relationship and watching her navigate through those feelings in regards to Walker was sweet. She's stronger than she gives her self credit for, is sweet and loyal to the core. I loved her growth!

Walker...well, he had me swooning-even when I wanted to shake him. He fought his very obvious attraction to Sienna so hard-for reasons I won't get into here-so watching him fall was great. He's a tough guy who loves his Nana, a homecooked meal, his small town and friends and family. I will say there was something that bothered me about him that I think took a bit too long to get through, but I did love him.

I like these two together. They had me laughing and sighing. Their sexy times were off the charts. But they shared a deeper emotional connection, even right away, though neither wanted any part of acknowledging that.

I thought the pacing in the book, one issue aside, really worked. These two both had issues they were working through. Things they needed to figure out on their own-and they did. I loved the small town aspect of this and all of the supporting characters, new and old, had me smiling. I loved this book and can't wait to read the next in this Gibson Boys series. I recommend this title.

Walker and Sienna were interesting and I liked them as a couple. I thought their initial meeting was amusing and different, which is difficult in a romance.

I liked the relationship of the central characters as well as that of the other characters in the story. This is a new series, but it is also interconnected, which appealed to me. Series titles, even loosely connected ones like these are, can start to get a little stale as they take place in the same "world" and I like the idea of moving the character to another world to tell Sienna's story.

There are references to characters in the Landry family, but you do not need to have read all of the books, or even some of them, to pick up in this story and there are no major spoilers about the books that feature the other characters.

There were some places where the timeline seemed to skip a bit and not quite work and there were events that seemed like it took a few weeks, but just took a few days in book. I have read other titles by this author and find that this is the case as well, and this is my biggest criticism of this author.

Overall, I enjoyed the story, and I liked the setup for the new Gibson boys series and the way it jumped off from the Landry stories with Sienna but is still going to be able to move to a new story, with new characters, in a new world.

I recommend this overall.

LUCKY NUMBER ELEVEN BY ADRIANA LOCKE-RELEASE BOOST

Title: Lucky Number Eleven
Author: Adriana Locke
Genre: Romantic Comedy/Sports Romance
Release Date: September 7, 2017

People say not to believe the things you read in magazines, but you know what? Most things you’ve heard about me are probably true.

I totally banged the reporter in the locker room after the championship game last year.

Those pictures in Expose from last summer? Those were not modified.

I’m also not really six-foot tall. (But let’s keep that between us.)

Now, I know you’re wondering about that last Expose headline—the one about me and my teammate (and ex-best friend) Finn Miller’s sister, Layla James. That one is a little more complicated.

Here’s the thing: I’ve played football my whole life. If there’s one thing I know, it’s how to adjust when the game changes. And if there’s one thing I always do, it’s find a way to win.

Granted, the stakes are higher. The playbook has changed. There’s more on the line than (another) MVP title. But guess what hasn’t changed? Me. I’m still Branch “Lucky” Best and I’m not about to fumble this one.

Grab a seat and a subscription to Expose. I’m about to make some headlines. (Again.)

A sexy, swoon-filled standalone novel.

“One question,” Poppy interjects, looking at Branch. “What position are you?”

“I typically like the bottom so I can watch—oomph,” he says, getting another elbow from Finn. “Wide receiver. Why?”

Looking at Poppy, I can’t help but laugh as her eyes light up.

“You got a problem with wide receivers?” Branch asks.

“You do,” Finn interjects, giving me a narrowed glare. “They aren’t any better than quarterbacks.”

Branch looks from me, to Finn, and back to me. “Why do we not like quarterbacks?”

“My sister was dating Callum Worthington.”

“No shit?” His face puckers like he just bit into a lemon. “How in the hell did that cocksucker end up with you?”

“He didn’t. We’re not together anymore.”

Branch’s eyes heat, the look causing my pulse to quicken. “I’m not a bit sorry to hear that.”

“You better forget you heard any of that,” Finn warns. “This is my sister, Branch. Not a cheerleader or reporter or some chick from a dating app. Got it?”

“Finn, relax,” I say, shoving a swallow past the lump in my throat. “I appreciate the big brother spiel, but I can handle myself.”

“I know you can,” he says, pulling his gaze away from Branch. “But you can’t handle him.”

Adriana Locke is quickly becoming a one click author for me. I love, love, love football romances (when done right) and I have a weakness for the best friend's little sister trope. Lucky Number Eleven is a fantastic blend of both. This story was a quick read for me, full of heart and heat.

I loved Branch-and I mean loved him. He was sexy, smart, sweet and swoonworthy. He knows who he is and what he wants-and when what he wants changes, he doesn't shy away from it. He was much more grounded than I anticipated him being and I really appreciated that.

I liked Layla. She's a woman who is strong and smart, who works for what she wants. She's successful in life because she's made herself that way. I liked her drive and passion. She had some insecurities that I wish she had dealt with a little quicker, but I can't really fault her for her feelings either.

These two have instant chemistry and it works. Ms. Locke has a way of writing where that instant chemistry feels believable, not forced in any way. There is more to these characters than their sexy times (though those are hot) and I appreciated seeing them grow and work through the issues in their relationship.

I loved the secondary characters in this story. I loved the group of friends for these characters that we got to meet-and who I wouldn't mind seeing more of in a future book. They helped move the story along in a way that made sense without taking away from Branch and Layla.

This story had a turn I didn't see coming but I absolutely loved it. I won't get into it because it's a spoiler but one you learn of fairly early. I enjoyed the way this story played out. I thought it was a fun read, and one I got through quickly. This is a great romance to read as football season starts because you can bet I'll be imagining Branch as one of the players I see on my TV on Sundays. I recommend this book.

SWINK BY ADRIANA LOCKE-RELEASE BLITZ

Title: Swink
Series: Landry Family #5
Author: Adriana Locke
Genre: A Standalone Bad Boy/Good Girl Romance
Release Date: July 21, 2017

Blurb

I’m that guy.

Camilla Landry rustles against me, the silky fabric of her overpriced lingerie slipping along my bruised rib. The porcelain perfection of her skin is even more innocent against the colorful ink dotting my own. It’s demure meets damage, pampered meets punctured.

So, yeah, it’s obvious I’m that guy. Dominic Hughes. Her attempt at rebellion. Her bid to see what the other side of the tracks feel like. I’m okay with being used because, from where I’m sitting, the other side of the tracks have never looked so good.

Adriana Locke has knocked this one out of the park for me. I've been a fan of her work, and love, love, love the Landry men but this book? Wow. This is hands down my favorite work of hers to date. It has heart, passion, sweetness and toughness. And that's just Dom.

Camilla Landry is the baby of her family and is treated like a princess by them. Her family fails to recognize that she's a grown woman, with thoughts and ideas of her own. She's let them keep her in a little tidy box and she is more than ready to be out of that box and standing on her own two feet. Watching her grow and assert herself was fun. She had me applauding and cheering for her several times throughout the book.

Dom? Oh, my Dom. I mean that. I've claimed him, everyone else can pretend they have but I'm telling you here and now Dom is mine. He is such an alpha male who covers up this huge heart. You can't help but fall in love with him and I didn't even bother trying to stop it. He's so protective of those that he loves, even if he doesn't realize he's doing it out of love. He has some growing pains to go through in this book. He steals the show for me a bit, just a tiny bit, with his journey into accepting himself for who he truly is.

These two together are just hot. Hot, sexy and sometimes sweet. They have this great banter between them outside of the bedroom. So witty and sharp. Did they have their share of obstacles? Yes. There was one in particular that drove me crazy, even though I completely understood the reasoning. I was still frustrated but loved the resolution and HOW it was handled.

The supporting cast of characters were a hoot as always. If you haven't read any of the other Landry books I encourage you to go back and start at the beginning. It isn't necessary, Swink can be read as a standalone, I just love the Landry family so I'll take any chance I have to recommend reading them. The writing flowed incredibly well and the pacing was spot on.

This book is one that will stick with me. This was a great blend of humor, heart and heat. I definitely recommend this book.

He’s standing in the doorway, one hand on the sweatpants that hang just below his chiseled hips and the other leans on the frame. The tattoos that mark his flesh are vivid against his bare skin, making the blues of his eyes shine.
He flashes a lopsided smile my way. “Took you long enough.”
“I don’t drive like a bat out of hell,” I laugh, stepping past him. “Did you shower already?”
“Yeah. I smelled like gym floors.”
“As long as you don’t smell like gym whores,” I say, setting the bags on the table in the kitchen.
His laugh is contagious and I feel myself smiling. A set of arms cage me in from behind, grasping the table on both sides of me. My skin breaks out in a shiver as his lips find the sensitive spot behind my ear.
His face buries in the crook of my neck and he takes a long, leisurely breath. “You smell so good.”
“Keep doing that,” I say, relaxing my head onto his chest.
“What?”
“Talking with your mouth against me.”
“You like this?” he asks all breathily so that each word whispers across my skin.
My eyes fall closed as I relish in this moment of nothing but him. “No, I love this.”
“Can I tell you a little secret?”
“As long as you keep talking, you can tell me whatever you want.”
He chuckles, dotting kisses up and down my neck. “I love this too, feeling your body give up the fight of the day and let me take over.” He turns me in his arms so I’m facing him. “I love that you trust me enough to let your shoulders sink out of that perfect posture you walk around with.”
As he reaches up and undoes the elastic in my hair, I watch his features soften. He moves carefully, unwrapping the tie from the twisted mess in my locks, careful not to pull.
“There,” he says, cupping the back of my head through my long tresses, “that’s better.”
“You don’t like my hair up?”
“Not like you had it. You look to lunching-y,” he says, wrinkling his nose.
“Lunching-y?”
“Yes,” he grins.
“You are too cute.”
“You are too fucking sexy.”
Reaching up, I swipe the pad of my thumb over the cut above his eye. He flinches, but just for a second. “What happened?”
“Bond’s right hand.”
“I hate him.”
“So do I,” he snickers.
“Let’s get some ice for it.”
He leans in, his brows tugging together. “Let’s not.” His eyes hood as he takes me in, his tongue darting out and wetting his lips. My knees weaken, my body humming with delight at his reaction.
“I want to take care of you,” I whisper, although that’s really on the backburner now. “Let me baby you.”
Instead, he lifts me up and places me on the table. My stomach clenches as he positions himself between my thighs, my sundress curling at my waist. I ring my legs around him, pulling him so close that the soft cotton of his sweatpants rubs against my opening.
He looks down. “You aren’t wearing panties.”
