Hollin and Piper have fabulous chemistry and I thought so from the beginning, as did all of their friends who all seemed to think that they should be together (and I agreed) and it works as while they say they dislike one another, neither of them really do.
Their reasons for convincing themselves of this are both explained and dealt with in the book. And, this is an important part of any enemies to lovers title. I have to at least believe the reason the characters don't like one another, and I have to believe the resolution of the reason. I believed both in this title.
I also enjoyed the glimpses of other characters from other books. I thought it was handled well, as they were secondary characters whom Piper and Hollin both knew, and were familiar names if you have read all the books, but were regular secondary characters if you haven't. I wasn't even fully aware this was the 10th book in the Wright series until I started writing this review, which is a credit to the author, as a lot of times when a series goes for a while they lose the ability to function as as standalone, but there was no issue with this one.
This book was a fun read and I enjoyed spending more time in this world. I enjoyed and recommend this title.
