Carmine and Nadia are a different type of hero and heroine for Kristen Proby...as you may have guessed seeing as this is a mafia story.

But, while they are a little grittier, and a little tougher, than other characters, what they also are is exactly what you want (and expect) from Ms. Proby...a wonderful love story with characters you end up liking and wanting to see get their happily ever after.

Personally, I loved that this was a little less cheerful and light, and was set in a slightly darker world than other books. I thought it was a fun difference that not only showed the talent of the author, but her versatility.

Ms. Probly can write a romance that you enjoy regardless of the setting, or what the characters do for a living.

I enjoyed and recommend this title.
