My Brother's Roommate by Kendall Ryan-Release Blitz

My Brother’s Roommate

By Kendall Ryan

Release Day: December 1, 2020

About the Book

There are a few things you should know about my brother’s roommate.

Wolfie Cox is . . . complicated. Terminally sexy, and more importantly, he has an impressive stick lodged so far up his ass, he’s about as emotionally available as a chinchilla. Actually, that might be an insult to the chinchilla community.

So, naturally, I want to ride him like a bicycle.

He thinks I hate him. Mostly because I’ve led him to believe this. It’s easier than admitting the alternative.

And while Wolfie is about as soft and cuddly as a fork, I’m the opposite. A good girl. Reliable. Conscientious. Oh, and completely panicked about an upcoming work conference.

Wolfie’s usually allergic to altruism, so when my brother volun-tells him to help me out by escorting me to said conference where everyone else will have a plus-one . . . I say thanks, but no thanks. Surprisingly, Wolfie is unflinching about this. And that’s the story about how I got stuck in a hotel with my brother’s hot (grouchy) roommate.

Thank you for coming to my TED talk.

In all seriousness, this isn’t a game to me, and hormones aside, I need to impress my boss this week so the promotion I’ve worked hard for doesn’t get handed to his spineless nephew. But with Wolfie and me sharing a hotel bed, things get confusing quickly.

I love Kendall Ryan's writing. I know when I pick up one of her books I'm going to be drawn into her character's world and My Brother's Roommate was no different. I was captivated from the start and read the book in one sitting. There were moments I laughed, moments I hurt for the characters and definitely swoony and sexy moments.

My Brother's Roommate is the story of Wolfie and Penelope. I loved watching how these two came together. Falling for a friend's sister is one of my favorite tropes and I thought this was really well done.

Wolfie is not perfect by any means. But I understood his flaws and I loved watching him work through them. I just wanted to give him a big hug. I absolutely cheered for him throughout this book as he grew. I love how he loves :)

Penelope wasn't looking for this. She's a smart, strong woman who just works hard and wants to be seen for that. Unfortunately her job isn't seeing her for what she's worth. Watching her navigate her work situation while balancing Wolfie and developing things there was great. I really liked Penelope and I thought she was someone I'd be friends with.

As I mentioned above I really liked these two together. In and out of the bedroom. I thought they complemented each other really well and truly were able to help each other through some situations that weren't always pretty. They just fit and I loved it.

This book took me on a great journey. I was captivated from beginning to end and had a smile on my face when I finished. I loved this book and would absolutely recommend it.

Penelope and Wolfie

I really enjoyed this one, possibly more than I thought I was going to.

Let me try to explain...

A story that revolves around a group of male friends who co-own a sex toy company seems like a story that will write itself and in a pretty predictable manner. And yet Wolfie wasn't predictable and there was a lot of depth to his story. Not that I wasn't expecting him to have depth, but I liked that it didn't go in the way I thought it would.

And, I adored Penelope. Some heroines are a lot of fun and she was definitely one of the fun ones. I liked her, I loved her connection with Wolfie, and I thought she was the perfect person to really be able to relate to him as she, and the reader, found out the reason that he is so guarded.

I enjoyed and recommend this title.
