Tempt the Hookup by Natasha Madison-Release Blitz

Blurb:

Eliahn

Getting pregnant after a booze cruise hookup was not what any parent wanted to hear, so I picked up my entire life and moved to Paris to start over. Six years later, I was ready to go home.

I was a single mom and the only thing I knew about my son’s dad was his name—Luca. I didn’t need to know anything else.

The universe had other ideas because on our second day back home, the man came crashing back into my life.

Luca

Attending a welcome back party for my boss's daughter wasn’t how I wanted to spend my Sunday. But walking in and seeing my hookup from a cruise six years ago knocks me on my ass.

It was a weekend of fun and now I'm seeing a pair of eyes, identical to mine, staring right at me. The boy standing next to her is my son.

Now we’re living next door to each other and attempting to co-parent something that would be easy to do if the pull that brought us together wasn’t still there making things more complicated.

For six years she haunted my dreams, now she's haunting my every waking moment.

I let her get away once, now I want to make her mine.

This time, permanently.

Only one thing left to do. I have to tempt the hookup.

When I saw this blurb I couldn't wait to get my hands on this book. I was sucked in right away, wanting to know exactly how Luca was going to Tempt the Hookup. This book was a fast read for me and left me with a smile on my face.

Eliahn and Luca met seven years earlier, in events we aren't really privy to. Yes, we get a few snippets, but honestly, there weren't a ton. So I did have a couple of questions about their past, but I feel like their present situation was handled very well.

I believed in this couple's instant attraction, or re-attraction. They were two pieces of a whole and they just clicked. I thoroughly enjoyed seeing these two find their way to each other. Their sexy times were definitely sexy, but I loved seeing them outside of the bedroom as well.

The supporting cast of characters here were just fun, and they did their job well. They supported this couple and didn't overwhelm them in the least. I enjoyed the writing and read this book in one sitting.

Tempt The Hookup was a cute, fast read for me. I enjoyed it and would recommend it.

Eliahn and Luca have a history and it's not one the reader is really part of, even though this title takes up pretty much where their history ends...yes, there's a time jump, but they are immediately attracted to one another and the relationship begins to develop again.

As a reader, you do believe in their relationship and in their attraction. It works. The history between them is interesting and believable. There are some coincidences, but they are also explained away reasonably.

This was a mix of a second chance and a little bit of instalove. Not for the characters, as they had history, but for the readers as we didn't really get a lot of that history that the current relationship was built on.

I'm not saying this book was bad. It wasn't. Not at all. I just didn't think it had the same depth as other titles by this author.

I did however enjoy and do recommend this title.

About the Author:

When her nose isn't buried in a book, or her fingers flying across a keyboard writing, she's in the kitchen creating gourmet meals. You can find her, in four inch heels no less, in the car chauffeuring kids, or possibly with her husband scheduling his business trips. It's a good thing her characters do what she says, because even her Labrador doesn't listen to her...
