But when the girl, young enough to be his daughter, literally lands in his lap and asks for his expertise, he'd be lying if he said he wasn't interested. In her body, in her innocence, in her philosophy.
In the kind of kismet that starts with kisses.
But Audrey isn't looking for love either--she's looking for lessons, and she's certain Dylan knows everything she needs to learn.
If he agrees to play the teacher can he keep his heart?
Of course he can.
Then again, he might be lying.

Sometimes, you are attracted to a person you meet on the subway, someone who is age appropriate and you have similar interests, and are in similar places in your life.
Other times, you are attracted to a coworker, she is 19 years younger than you, and you aren't sure if you have the same interests, as she is young enough to be your daughter.
Dylan and Audrey are the latter. She's a subordinate, she works for the company, and she asks him to kiss her...he's powerless to refuse her, and he doesn't want to resist her. As a reader, you FEEL this attraction, his desire to do something that he knows (or thinks)is wrong, but wants to do so badly. This is the main tension of the book, and the reason that the scenes with Audrey and Dylan are so damn hot.
But, she is young, and he feels bad, like this isn't something he should pursue. However, when she pursues him? When she goes with him to appointments, comes on to him, and makes it clear that she wants him, and knows what she is asking for? Well, there is no way he is going to turn her down.
Yes, this is a story on a timeline, they have a week (or so) before both of them move on to other things, other places in their lives, and go back to their real lives. So, what is the harm in pursuing the relationship? Nothing, as long as you don't fall in love.
Technically, this doesn't end on a cliffhanger...but it does end with you wanting to know what happens next.
As always, this title is full of characters you like and ones you want to know more about. As always, Laurelin Paige delivers a story you love and don't want to put down.
I recommend this title.
If you've read the Author's other works, you'll remember Dylan. I may have squealed when I realized he was getting his own duet-ok, who am I kidding, I totally did. I wanted to know more about this sexy British man; I wanted to understand his thoughts and feelings...and definitely wanted to see him in the bedroom.
Audrey is a breath of fresh air. She's an optimist, which I can totally relate to. I really enjoyed how she went after Dylan. It wasn't overdone, it was perfectly in character.
The chemistry between these two is absolutely off the charts. Sizzling. I'm still fanning myself after reading it. It's just that incredible and steamy. I definitely want more of these two-and cannot wait for the second book in this duet.
This book happens in conjunction with other books from the Author-but if you haven't read them, this does stand on its own. I recommend all the other books In the Dirty universe because *I* love each and every one of them. So for me, this was a fun revisit with old friends as well.
Laurelin Paige can rewrite a phone book and I'd read it. Her words are pure magic and her storytelling is a gift. I loved every moment of this book and absolutely devoured it. I am eagerly awaiting the conclusion to this sexy and steamy duet.
About The Author:
With over 1.7 million books sold world wide, Laurelin Paige is a New York Times, Wall Street Journal and USA Today Bestselling Author. She is a sucker for a good romance and gets giddy anytime there’s kissing, much to the embarrassment of her three daughters. Her husband doesn’t seem to complain, however. When she isn’t reading or writing sexy stories, she’s probably singing, watching Game of Thrones or The Walking Dead, or dreaming of Michael Fassbender. She's also a proud member of Mensa International though she doesn't do anything with the organization except use it as material for her bio. She is represented by Rebecca Friedman.
