Jessica Peterson is rapidly becoming a go to author for me...and for books like this one. I enjoyed it, so much.
The pacing was strong, although there were a couple of places where I thought it moved a little quickly...bit it worked well overall.
I enjoyed it and I recommend it.
This isn't my first book from Jessica Peterson and it won't be my last. This slow burn romance left me fanning myself for sure. I definitely enjoyed this title.
I truly liked getting to know these characters. Olivia is someone that I felt I could definitely relate to and I fell for Eli hard. It was interesting to watch these two peel back each other's layers and push each other to be the best versions of themselves.
The chemistry between them works. It felt real, authentic and just oozed off the page. I completely believed in them and how their relationship developed.
This book made me feel transported. I felt I was in South Carolina with the characters-and I love that. Writing like that is why I like this Author. I think the book itself flowed well and I enjoyed the plot. I look forward to what this Author will give us next! I recommend this book!
