I'd dated his brother. He didn’t remember and I wish I could forget. I may have sworn off the Wright family a long time ago. But when I returned home, Jensen Wright crashed into my life with the confidence of a billionaire CEO and the sex appeal of a god. Even I couldn’t resist our charged chemistry, or the way he fit into my life like a missing puzzle piece. Too bad he’d forgotten the one thing that could destroy us. Because Jensen Wright doesn’t share. Not with anyone. And if his brother finds out, this could all go down in flames. When it all was said and done, was he the Wright brother?

This is my first book by K.A. Linde, although not my first time hearing of her as an author, which is a lot of the reason I was interested in reading it.

I liked Jensen and Emery a lot. From the blurb, I was expecting there to be more of an issue with the brother, Landon, than there actually was. But I found that refreshing, as it had been 10 years since they had dated in high school. I loved that she was able to meet Jensen on her own terms, although the how on this is a spoiler, so I won't get into this. I loved the fact that their relationship wasn't as linear as romance relationships can be in books, there were detours and issues, but they didn't really come in the expected ways and places, which was refreshing.

I was impressed with the writing, and with the characters. I thought it was smooth, fairly well paced, and with realistic dialog and characters.

There were a couple of things that I thought were resolved a little too quickly and easily, so the pacing was not perfect, but that was really the only issue I had with the book.

I recommend this one, and I am not only looking forward to the next (oh my the preview chapter at the end of this book) but will be checking out the other books by this author!
